25 25 Village

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!" He screamed while trying to cover his legs in pain.

After a few seconds of him screaming, I decided that it was enough and killed him.

Now that the bandits were taken care of, I continued walking to the village.

While walking I remembered that my clothes were still the ones that I was wearing in the human world, so in order not to attract unwanted annoyances and attention, I brought a red yakuta from the system.

After buying it, I went to a secluded space and changed into it.

The yakuta was very comfortable and easy to move in, I then brought a pair of white sandals for my feet and wore them.

I resumed walking to the village while marveling at the beautiful nature around me, after some minutes I reached the village and when I saw it, I raised an eyebrow.

Because the village if you can call it one, isn't even one, because the size of the 'village' is the same size as a district.

"What the hell? Can this be considered as a village? This size is enough to be called as a district." I thought.

I used my observation haki to if there are any shinigamis, I soon got the results which were there are shinigamis in the area, so I took out the aura concealment perfume and sprayed it on. After spraying it on, I walked to the entrance.

There was a plate on the top of the gate with the words Sozoko Village.

As for the entrance it was heavily guarded and had some people lining in front of it so I joined in and waited, when it was my turn, one of the guards asked "State your business."

"I'm here to rest for some time and leave." I answered back.

"Ok then, were going to have to search you first before you can enter." The guard said.

"Sure I don't mind." I allowed them to search me since I have nothing to hide after all.

They searched me and found nothing suspicious, so the guard said "You can come in."

"Thank you, and also can I ask something?"

"What is it?"

"Is this place always this heavily guarded?"

Hearing my question the guards signed and one of them said.

"No, even though this place is always guarded, it isn't this much but lately there has been a large bandit group in the area that's been causing chaos."

"Just 3 days ago, they attacked this place and even though the shinigamis were able to defend this place, most of the bandits were able to escape into the forest of endless."

"Ok last question, why do you guys call this a village even though it is the same size as a district?"

When they heard my question, the guards had wry faces and the one who answered me again spoke.

"Erm honestly even we don't even know, originally this was a small village but because this was the only settlement inside the endless forest a lot of people came here for shelter and it got bigger and bigger overtime.

"We tried to make the mayor change the name but he refused."

Nodding my head, I said. "I see, anyways have a good day." And walked in.

After getting past the gate, I saw that condition of the so called "village" was even better than districts above 50.

Even though from the guards words that they were just attacked 3 days ago, the only proof that I saw of destruction was some houses having damage and some being currently repaired, the rest of the buildings were intact with no damage.

"Wow this place sure does recover fast." I said while looking around.

Since I have nothing else to do, I decided to walk around the village and see if I can find something interesting, though I doubt that.

—2 hours later—

I was now sitting on a chair of a restaurant, the sky has already became dark.

I finished exploring the district and found nothing that interested me, after that I started to get hungry since the last time I ate was morning.

A woman with plates in her hand arrived at my table and said "Kentaro-san here is your order."

She placed the food down and I gave her a thousand kan as payment.

Kan is the currency of the soul society, the exchange value is still the same, 1 point means 1 thousand kan.

While I was eating, no one came to disturb me since only people with reiryoku will eat food, actually normal souls without Reiryoku can eat too, but who would spend money on something they don't need?

So I ate my food in peace and after that, I decided to go back home, so I got up and went to a inn and rented a room for a day.

The reason that I choose to rent a room instead of leaving the village and return safely tomorrow was that if I do so, the guards would be suspicious of me

Since everybody knows that the night is when hollows normally appear and no sane person would go into a forest where there were several hollows.

There was also the bandit group, even if I somehow managed to evade meeting a hollow, my luck can't possible be that good to not meet any bandit.

So to avoid being suspicious, I rented a room. Closing the door, I opened a garganta and stepped in it.

Coming out of the garganta, I saw that my body was still where I left it without any damages.

Seeing this I released a breath of relief, even though I knew that nothing will happen to my body, I was still worried.

I mean everyone must at least worry about this if its their first time going out of their body.

Without further ado, I reconnected the connection and went inside my body, opening my eyes, I got up and dusted of the dirt and grass on my body.

I walked around and knowing that I'm fine now, I used the teleportation amulet to go home.

I appeared in the alley where I used to be and went out of it and continued to go home.

While I was walking, I checked the time and saw that it was 8:30 AM so I hastened my steps and reached home.

Before I could touch the door knob, it was turned and the door was opened, revealing Hikari whose face was a little red.

"Welcome back master." She said while smiling as she bowed.

"Mhm thanks for the welcome, also I have a question."

"What is it master?"

"Why is your face red?"

Hikaris body twitched and her smile was about to break but she fixed herself and said.

"It must've been because of cleaning the house, so maybe I got a little red because of sweat and exhaustion."

"Are you ok?"

"Yes yes I'm perfectly fine, this is nothing." She said while waving her hands.

"Ok then let's go inside." I was still suspicious because the house was air conditioned, no matter how much sweaty you get it would still be dried in a matter of seconds.

I just left it be and went to take a warm bath.

After bathing I took the clothes on the table and put them on, I didn't try to make Hikari stop because I knew that she would refuse me because she can't see any clothes ob my drawer.

I went put of the bathroom and walked downstairs, and I have to say her cleaning skills are really really good, as in I can see my reflection on the tiles.

I went to the kitchen and on the table were delicious food, suddenly my stomach growled, and I got hungry.

The reason for this is because I only ate by my soul, I didn't eat physically so now my body is hungry after training for so long.

So I immediately dug in the food.
