The Adventurers

After running around crazily and screaming for a while Tyler began to calm down and he sat down to think.

"I have no idea what's going.... I'm guessing it has something to do with everything that was happening in that blackness I was in before.."

"Oh right! That System thing was telling me something about going to another world.... This couldn't be it could it!?!"

Upon hearing him say 'System'

[Greetings Erebus. I am the System]

"Can you understand me?" Tyler asked.

[The System is a high level of intelligence. I am able to process any information, yes]

"Please tell me where I am?" Tyler replied

[The User has been transported to another world due to the previous world not being suitable]

The expression on Tyler's face turned very concerned and fearful.

"Why does my body look like this instead of how it normally is??" Tyler asked

[The Users appearance has been changed due to the acceptance of the System, the System has altered the appearance for their new role in this World]

Ryder was extremely confused.

"What am I??" Tyler asked

[The User has been transformed into a (Shadow Creature)]

Tyler still did not completely understand but he was getting a general grasp at this point.

"What is a Shadow Creature?" Tyler asked

[In the terms of this World it is a Ancient Creature that was thought long extinct in this world]

"Why was I made a Shadow Creature?" Tyler asked

[The User was transformed due to %#ERROR#%]

Tyler was confused by the Error but decided to keep asking questions.

"You said you could help me achieve great things.... What do you mean by that?"

[The System is here to help the User become the strongest and achieve World Domination in this world]

"But what if I don't want World Domination?"

This wasn't necessarily true, Tyler could see some joy out of ruling the world and being the strongest.

[The User is not given that option, the only course of action is World Domination]

Tyler wondered how all of this was possible with him being so weak even though he felt 10x stronger than he did before.

"How can I possibly become the strongest in this world?"

[The System will help the User gain large amounts of power through various methods to increase their abilities]

Tyler was curious how strong he was compared to others in this world if the System thought it was possible.

"How strong am I currently?"

Suddenly a larger text box showed up.

Tyler carefully read over the information in front of him.

"Why do I not have any skills?" Tyler asked.

[Due to the fact that the User has just entered this world they do not posses any special skills as these are gained through various tasks and methods]

Even though this was the craziest thing that ever happen to him by far he felt like he began to understand what was happening. It felt similar to the things he was always reading about in novels.

"So System, what should I do now?" Tyler asked.

[The User is currently in a field outside the Forest of Degbha within the Yaigon Empire. The only course of action the System can suggest is to find civilization of some sort instead of here as the System can't help too much]

As Tyler was thinking this over on what he should do there was a small group of adventurers a short distance away from him slowly getting nearer.

The group was comprised of 3 people, A girl and two boys. The girl was a mage while the boys were both swordsman. They we're very close friends who had known each other for years and got into the Adventurer business together. Currently they we're on a quest that took place in the Forest of Degbha, they were on their way back and decided to cross through the field.

"That was so bad...… There was bugs everywhere in that stupid Forest." Said the girl.

She was a average sized girl with black hair and yellowish eyes.

"Oh toughen up, there was only a few and they were super small. You're overreacting" Said the boy who seemed to be the leader of the group. He was a tall man with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Personally I thought they were kind of interesting, I wish we could have stayed longer to explore and find more" Said the other boy.

He was a bit shorter with light brown hair and dark green eyes.

They continued to chat very actively with each other as they walked about various things unaware of the creature only 40ft in front of them. Tyler was interrupted from his thinking due to the loud chatter coming from a specific direction and quickly went into a panic.

"Are there people!? Oh no, oh no. I don't know what I should do.... should I hide? But there's no where to hide! Dammit! I guess there's no choice here, I've just got to deal with whatever I find."

In no time the Adventurers were only 10 or so feet in front of him. They stopped instantly as they saw him.

If you looked at their faces you wouldn't be able to tell what they were thinking. It was as if the thoughts drained out of them and they were just frozen in place.

When they looked at Tyler all they could see was a pitch black figure sitting in the middle of the field. The darkness was slowly flowing off of him. They felt as if they were staring at death itself. Its dark purple eyes staring directly at them, they stared back and only saw an endless void in its eyes. They we're so scared they couldn't even think to move only wondering what this entity would do next.

Tyler on the other hand was just as scared as them. He couldn't tell how strong they we're and there was three of them. He thought if they chose to then they could easily kill him.

Due to this situation a large stalemate was created where nobody moved for quite a long while out of pure fear as they stared at each other without moving a single muscle.
