Katagishi went to Masuno and asked him how he could get stronger because he knew that the cultivation would make his body stronger, but he still needs to train.

"Why do you want to get stronger?" - Asked Masuno

"I want to be able to protect everyone in the village" - Said Katagishi half as a lie and half as the truth because he has grown closer to his family.

"Well since you have been learning the chakra network I could teach you how to use senbon" - Said Masuno

"Yeah! Can I learn senbon" - Said Katagishi 'With senbon, I can attach bells to the end and use the Bell Ring Genjutsu, after all, I have wind and yin chakra nature so I can use sound release' - thought Katagishi

"Okay, let's go out to the forest near the house, and I will give you some senbon you can practice to throw them against the tree" - Said Masuno

Katagishi and Masuno walked over to the forest, and Masuno gave him some senbon.

"You should line it up with your middle finger and keep your middle and pointer finger straight. Lift your hand up and bring it down then after your hand is level with where you want to throw, let the senbon slide out. Aim for the middle of the tree" - Said Masuno

Katagishi then followed Masuno's advice and tried to throw the senbon. The senbon went forward and hit the bottom of the tree.

"It seems that you released the senbon too late. Try to throw another senbon." - Explained Masuno

Then after one hour of training with senbon, Katagishi had succeeded around 15 times. This resulted in Katagishi's arm hurting and feeling like he could barely move it

'Damn, this is what real training feels like, I always thought I would come to the naruto world and then be op, but I guess I can't be talented at everything.' - Katagishi

"It seems that you need more physical training because in a real fight your chakra control does have an effect but isn't the main factor. Now let's do some sparring to get some battle experience, but don't worry I will only use taijutsu and go easy on you." - Masuno

"Can I wait a bit, my arm still hurts from all the senbon throwing" - Katagishi

"Okay, but only ten minutes, because in a real fight you won't get that chance to rest" - Masuno

After the ten minutes, they had begun to spar and Katagishi had instantly realized that he did not truly know how to fight and so he had jumped backward and tried to cast Fūton: Reppūshō (Wind Style: Gale Palm C-rank) with a senbon, but Masuno ran forward at him too quickly before he could cast Fūton: Reppūshō (Wind Style: Gale Palm C-rank). Katagishi had been kicked and was able to slightly put up his hand.

"It seems you can not do hand signs fast enough" - Masuno

Katagishi slid back two meters and tried to cast Fūton: Kihō (Wind Style: Air bubble D-rank) as a shield. This gave him enough time to try to heal his arm using Healing Technique D-rank (AN: don't know if this is d-rank I just assume it is) and retreat backward.

"POP!"

Katagishi immediately saw Masuno pop his Fūton: Kihō (Wind Style: Air bubble D-rank) and notice that this pop only slightly delayed Masuno from getting closer. Katagishi then tries to move a little bit back and casts Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique). Masuno realizes the leaves swirling around him and thought

'Maybe Nasho taught him some wind style jutsu without me knowing, but which one' - Masuno

Then all the leaves around Masuno fall to the ground and he thinks that Katagishi had failed to cast the jutsu because Katagishi didn't have enough chakra. Then Masuno runs forward at Katagishi and punches him at the side. Then Katagishi falls to the ground and faints. Masuno then runs to Katagishi and tries to see if he is fine, and once he notices Katagishi isn't responding he tries to use Iryojutsu. But the Iryojutsu didn't seem to have any effect

'Why doesn't the jutsu have any effect, it should work. No this must be a genjutsu because I didn't hit hard enough to cause that much damage' - Thinks Masuno

After this Masuno stirs up the chakra in his body to do genjutsu kai and sees the world around him break after three seconds. Once the genjutsu is over Masuno looks around and tries to find Katagishi but he can not find him, then he sees a large shuriken coming over at him.

*Katagishi while Masuno is in the genjutsu*

Katagishi runs over to the trees nearby and takes a piece of wood off of the tree. Then he tries to cast Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: False surroundings technique) on it to turn it into a giant shuriken. Then with all his leftover chakra, he casts Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: False surroundings technique) to make himself seem like the tree.

Then Masuno snaps out of the genjutsu and sees the giant shuriken coming over at him and tries to dodge, but is still displaced by the genjutsu and is hit slightly by the giant shuriken on his cheek. After this, he looks towards where the giant shuriken came from, but only sees trees. Then Masuno does genjutsu kai in case he is put in another genjutsu, and sees Katagishi.

Masuno immediately runs over and punches Katagishi slightly weaker than normal because he still has a fear that a repeat of what happened in the genjutsu will happen again. But this punch was still strong enough to knock Katagishi backward. Katagishi throws three senbon, but this is easily avoided by Masuno and then he kicks Katagishi.

"Okay, I give up, I am out of chakra and can't think of any way to beat you in taijutsu" - Katagishi

"You still did well, if I was someone weaker I may have been defeated by your genjutsu. It seems that you still need some more training to increase the amount of chakra you have" - Masuno

After this Masuno and Katagishi had practiced some more senbon throwing and trains to increase his chakra.

The night after this Katagishi realized that his chakra had slightly increased in chakra capacity and he got better at controling chakra. Also that his body had adapted slightly to make it easier to throw senbon. The next six months passed in the same way, except once he got home his mom (Nasho) would train him in Iryojutsu.
