Genius of Genjutsu

*One year later*

"Dad I have spent six months practicing hand seals, and another six months doing chakra control. Can I finally learn genjutsu." - Katagishi

"But first let's test your chakra nature with this chakra paper, just input your chakra into the paper." - Masuno

During this time Kategishi had learned that his Dad was a jonin and was often out of missions and that was why he had rarely talked to him. Kategishi wondered what time period he was in right now because he never heard of his Dad's name in the original story.

Kategishi went to the paper and inputted his chakra and then the paper was split in half and he also saw an oni on the paper.

"I guess you only have wind nature, but that doesn't matter you can still learn jutsus of other natures" - Masuno

Kategishi realized that his Dad didn't bring up the oni, so he just assumed that it was probably due to his reincarnation that the oni showed up or that he could see it.

"I will teach you Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone jutsu E-rank), Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Jutsu E-rank), Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique D-rank ), and Fūton: Kihō (Wind Style: Air bubble D-rank) (AN: I made this jutsu because I couldn't find any d-rank wind style jutsu, it just makes a slow moving air bubble, basically bigger, slower, and weaker air bullet.), but some of these jutsus can hurt people a lot, so you can not practice when I am not around. " - Masuno

"Okay Dad" - replied Katagishi

"Also the people from the main branch will come to see if you are truly a genius, they should be here in a few hours. Well, start practicing the Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone jutsu), or Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Jutsu). " - Masuno

* A few hours later*

"Hello, my name is Murakumo Kurama, and I am the head of the main branch of the Kurama clan." - Murakumo

"So how will I be tested" - Katagishi

"You are pretty direct. Since you probably don't know many jutsu I will just test your chakra control, I would like you to walk up to that tree, and then try to climb it using only your feet." - Murakumo

Katagishi walked up to the tree and then put one foot on it, and after he thought he inputted the correct amount of chakra he put the other foot on and started walking up.

"Good, good! It seems walking up that tree isn't that difficult for you, so let's try upping the difficulty, go to that pond over there and try to walk on the water" - Murakumo said after he saw Katagishi learn how to walk up the tree in less than three minutes.

Katagishi went to the pond and put chakra underneath his foot and instantly felt that there was something solid under his foot and then he put the other foot on and started to run around

'Good, it seems he has chakra control on the level of chunin, so he will definitely be good at genjutsu'

Katagishi had kept running on the water and wondered how good of chakra control he had. Then after five minutes of running around, he felt his foot fell into the water.

"It seems that you do not have much chakra, but your chakra control is quite great for someone of your age, also what is your chakra nature" - Murakumo

"Clan head Murakumo, my chakra nature is the wind nature" - Katagishi

"Now let's do one final test, try to put me into a genjutsu" - Murakumo

"Can you give me some time to rest I don't have enough chakra to cast a genjutsu" - Katagishi

"Okay, you can wait until you have enough chakra" - Murakumo

After got back his chakra he did the snake and rat hand sign and disappeared into a swirl of leaves. Instantly Murakumo saw his wife Uroko giving birth and both his wife and baby died. He knew this was a genjutsu, but it still felt so real in his mind. Then he used the genjutsu kai and broke out of the genjutsu. If the difference of strength wasn't so large and that Katagishi hadn't just recently learned the jutsu Murakumo probably wouldn't be able to break out of this genjutsu.

"It seems that you are very talented in genjutsu, in one year I will come back and test you again to see how much you can grow. Also here is the Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: False surroundings technique), it is a C-rank jutsu, but I still hope you will be able to use it after you become a genin." - Murakumo

"Well it seems you are done testing my son, clan head Murakumo, how did he do?"

Murakumo walked over to Masuno and whispered

After Murakumo left, it was near night time and so everyone went back to the house and all went to sleep and as this happened Katagishi wondered

'How do I still remember what those scrolls said on how to use the jutsu, is this one of the advantages of reincarnation? Compared to my previous life it seems that in this one I have better-thought processing, comprehension, intelligence, computing, and memory. Is this from my reincarnation or just what chakra does to people? The ball of light said I did have some advantages of being reincarnated and being in that void so long.' - Katagishi

Then Katagishi decided that he would eventually figure out the benefits of his reincarnation, and went to sleep.
