I can't say enough good things about this book. It's beautifully written, the characters are amazing, it's perfectly balanced between world building and storytelling. I devoured the first 60 chapters when it came up as my limited free pick- I hated everything that made me put it down! If you want something to keep you up at night, read this book!! 💜🍵📔

Super loving this story at the moment. The world background and characters are well fleshed - out, its story drawing you in at ech step. The author has me watching out for every update.

Very interesting story with fascinating characters and plot. Once started reading it, it was difficult to put it down.

This was so beautifully written, this is my second read. I enjoyed it so much when I first read it months ago but reading it again now made me fall in love with it even more. The author did a really wonderful job. 100% recommend.

The beginning of the book was very intense and spicy.

I am currently enjoying this read so much so, although I am not done yet, I am dropping a feedback. The beginning chapters confused me a bit, and I can understand now that it is because I haven't read this kind of character setting before. The gender that somehow doesn't matter but matters a little bit mixed in the categorization each gender has (alpha, omega, beta). The story is interesting enough to keep me with the guarantee that it will be clearer as I jeep reading.The narration gives continues account of the event smoothly. I am nit a bug fan of jump backs and this story has minimal flashbacks and jump backs. The dialog provided better understanding of the characters and gave readers the ability to sense the atmosphere set for the story.This is a goodnread for anyone into costume, history, fantasy and romance wrapped in one.

If you have any doubts about reading this novel, DONT. This story is worth every chapter. The characters are incredible and the story/writing is enticing the whole way through. 1000/5

One of my favourite novels yet. The two lead characters have explosive chemistry coupled with unshakeable loyalty - a great combination when you're trying to steal a throne. By the end of the novel, it felt like saying goodbye to old friends. It's definitely got me hooked on the author's work!

I'm reading this late, and I wonder where it has been my entire life! I have read 32 chapters, and I love this story so far! It keeps me on my toes as I try to predict what the motives are of different characters and I'm always guessing (mostly wrong... 😅) This author is one of the BEST writers and I love many of the characters. It is fun seeing the 'culture shock' and the views of different characters depending on their background. Also, the world building is great and I was never bored! I can't wait for more romance to blossom between our main couple. Two alphas is not something I see often but I'm shipping them! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Usually Chinese translated books can be rife with misspellings and a hundred and one prolific proverbs. it's nice to find something that's very balanced on that front and a very easy and smooth read. barely and mistakes from what I could tell
