"Before you say those words just look at your face first," he said and jump to the side and avoid him. The man had a huge smile on him and he was looking at Seven as if he was holding his God.

"come on little Seven, I just want to be friends," he said and act as if hugging him, but Seven just glared at him and threw him his shoes.

"pervert go away!" he shouted and run out of his room. The man immediately recovered and run after him.

Such a scene between a child running and a man after him was what the researchers saw the moment they arrived. They had learned from Lieutenant Colonel Green that the Seven was awake and is currently talking to General Cross but who would have thought that the first to arrive here was Dr. Zalric Maddox

A genius scientist, who was only 23 this year, famous for making Ostreoblast quantum particles - a type of cannon gun that can easily pierce through the metal-like exoskeleton of a high-level Zerg and discovered the usage of Varuin Hex which is- a type of metal that was considered to be useless in the whole star alliance and became the empires shame.

The empire had an entire planet full of this metal, it was something they had fought over to another planet, Tresahil, though they won the rights for it but were left in utter shock when they discover it was useless.

Years later Dr. Maddox found out it was an important material for creating a cloaking device that could easily hide the mecha from enemies' sight. The emperor was so happy that he celebrated for a week after hearing this.

His work causes the empire to create 20 years of gap in technological advancement between other planets. His achievements can be seen in every field of science that's why he was highly regarded, the only problem is, that he was eccentric and broader line crazy.

He will only put his attention to things he finds worthwhile, no one can force him to create something if he thinks that project is trash.

One time a researcher ask him to be part of his project in creating an attachable booster that can be added in mecha for added speed, the researcher came from a noble family so he was confident that Maddox would accept and so he boasted about it.

However, Maddox was even crazier than they expected, not only did he not agree he even pointed out the error in his study. He mocks the man for coming up with the idea with considering the defects of his project.

He thinks creating an attachable booster was useless since it would not balance the mechanism that mecha was built for, attaching a booster would disrupt the overall performance since the parts wouldn't be able to keep up with the fast pace. If they were to apply this product, they would need to change the mecha just to accommodate the booster.

Of course, this wasn't the only thing he was angry about, the idea that the researcher presented was similar to his project.

It was a detachable mecha, he come up with the idea to make it easier in changing parts, provide flexibility, it was more resilient, it was lighter, and be far more faster. Mechas are commonly made as a whole, thus it lacks flexibility, and fixing the parts takes a long time. His project attracted a lot of attention and since then many were trying to copy him.

For him you need to think way more out of the box, the rarer and crazier the idea, the more attached he will be to it.

Now he found a new obsession, the result of a kid who has 2S physiques and the first-ever 3S mental power which will likely surpass that level considering how it broke the measuring device.

Unlike others, Seven results showed irregular fluctuations, the device they were so proud to become useless when it comes to seven.

Another factor to look at was his system, everyone thought it was gravity, based on the words of General Cross, but when they scan him, something different appeared. It was a tiny black matter that seem to swallow its surroundings.

"Dr. Maddox please calm down for a bit," his assistant Mace said. She was wearing a similar white gown as Dr. Maddox. Had brunette hair, a pair of brown eyes, and a cute button nose. She was petite making her stature stand out from all of the giants in the room.

The two finally stop their play of tag after noticing other people were looking at them. General Cross who was busy preparing for Seven's entry arrives and Seven immediately hide behind him.

"what is going on here? " he questioned, he was still fine minutes ago and the whole place was turned upside down in such a short time.

"*cough. Hmm, nothing I just want to meet little Seven" Maddox nonchalantly explained. It's not like they can throw him out of the army anyway, he was after all someone the army sought after, the 2nd army should feel lucky since he was here.

"General who is this perver-- I mean man" Seven almost had a slip of tongue. From the looks of it, the man has a high position considering everyone's treatment.

"he is Dr. Maddox, he was responsible for your check-up yesterday. He might not look like it but he is a genius in the field of science," he explained to Seven which Maddox scoff up in return.

"at least introduce me properly, what would you do if Seven won't like me after this" he sadly says making Seven have a blank space. Others could only facepalm.

The researchers thought 'I think he already hates you the moment you run after him' of course, they can only keep this to themselves.

"clean this place and you guys take this discussion to the infirmary." Cross decided, it was useless to talk to Maddox, this madman.

"no, let's go to my office" Maddox suggest but was already turned down by Seven. Who knows what kind of deadly experiment this pervert is trying?

Hearing Steven's disapproval, they headed to the infirmary. Minutes later they arrived at the place and Seven was impressed by the surroundings. The ceilings were high and well-ventilated, and the machine and other devices looked like it was taken out of a science fiction book.

Bottle after bottle containing different colored substances were aligned magnificently on the shelves, and smart robots were scrambling around passing products to another one. It was a bizarre scene that which even his expressionless face showed amazement and interest.

"wow!" he said eyes sparkling in delight. The researchers felt proud seeing this reaction.

They had forgotten such feelings after being with Maddox, the only things they heard from it were complaints and dissatisfaction, it was difficult gaining his approval.

"Seven do you like this stuff, if you go into my lab I'll assure you that it's 100 times better than what they have here" hearing this Seven was curious but didn't agree.

"no, I'm fine here" Such remarks surprised everyone, Dr. Maddox never let anyone enter his laboratory this easily, even his assistant took a month before achieving such a feat.

They went inside a chamber that consisted of different machines to measure an individual's body statistics. Other soldiers were also there and they were curious to see what was going on for the General and Dr. Maddox to be here.

The researchers readied the apparatus and measuring device but a thought suddenly came to mind.
