[BL] Records of a Peach Blossom's Journey

Leon Wang was 19 years old. Right after graduating high school. He immediately entered the workforce. Shifting from multiple jobs with minimal pay, he struggled to afford his rent. Like any usual day, he left his apartment to go to work. Checking the time on his phone, he walked across the street. He was tired the night before and overslept. Now he was rushing to work. All of a sudden, he heard a blaring honk to his left. The next moment, all his senses were filled with insufferable pain. 'Ah, I haven't checked in for the daily mission today.' He thought in grievance and unwillingness before everything turned dark. * * "LordKittyCat, do me a favor just this one time!" "For the nth time, my name is not LordKittyCat! It's system No. 369!" "Isn't there a beginner protection period for my first world?! Why isn't it working cause your lovely, handsome, and amazing host will soon die any second now!" "You stupid braindead host! You had to let your impulsive thoughts control you and now my internal system is malfunctioning so I can't connect to the main server!" * * Leon Wang was a game addict before his passing. It was just one game that he was obsessed with and it was a trash game that no one played. Like a psychotic cult follower worshiping his god. After gaining consciousness after his death, he met his System, No. 369. With a pet system companion and a golden finger that followed him after his death, he traveled through the universe. Entering one world after another, he realized that there was a mystery to his soul's origin. * * Current Schedule: 2 chapters biweekly. Advised, NO ONE 17 AND UNDER.

Lowest Level: First World, Finally Meeting the Female Protagonist

Leon was sleeping but in his sleep, he heard murmurs and whispers all around him. The voice was soft and gentle. You could hear the care in the other's voice as they sang a sweet lullaby. When Leon woke up the next day, he noticed that the surroundings were calling him. He followed the pull and the forest seemed to move and open up. After 5 minutes of walking, he reached a barrier. He couldn't see it but he could feel it before him. He then walked forward and his eyes widened in shock. He knew his elven bloodline had awakened and those warm whispers was mother nature's welcoming embrace. Leon felt emotional. He wanted to sob out and indulge into the warm and care. He had never been treated like that before.

His mother died giving birth to him. His father neglected him and commit suicide to follow after his mother when he was 10 years old. He had no relatives and was orphaned for a while. The orphanage couldn't get sponsors and donations so the place shut down and he was forced to live in the streets for a month. He met a kind old beggar and the man taught him how to live on his own. He saved enough money to rent a small, worn down apartment. He finished high school and continued to work all kinds of jobs up until he died.

Leon released a deep breath. Collecting himself, he accepted the warmth that called out to him. Instantly, the mana in the earth swirled into his soul. After being filled with power, he smiled. His senses were stronger and he could hear for miles away. The chirps of birds, the rustling of the leaves as the wind moved, and the water flowing within the earth. Then he heard a voice of someone that was approaching his location.

"Wow, it's an elf. Look, Kei!"

A young female was hugging another male's arm as they walked towards Leon. Leon was confused. He felt familiar with this man. But he knows that they have never met before as he looks back at his memories. Pulling himself out of his thoughts, he focused on the couple in front of him.

"You two are..?"

"Ah! I'm Tiriana and this is Kei! We are both humans and we are on our way to meet an elven friend!"

Leon raised his hand and pushed back his hair behind his ears. He noticed that they were pointed. So that was why the female called him an elf. Leon nodded as he focused on the female.

"I'm mixed race. I am here to find my elven mother. My father had raised me but he fell ill and died. He told me to go find my mother and that is why I am here. Can you two help guide me to the village? I have no idea where to go."

Leon put on a depressed and lost expression. Tiriana had a tiny frown before she returned to her happy expression.

"Oh, of course we will help you. You poor thing! I know your mother would love to meet you! Let's help out this young man, Kei!"

Kei remained expressionless the entire time. He showed no reaction to the two of them and just nodded as a response to Tiriana's decision. His lower face was covered with a black cloth and his deep, unamused, emerald eyes stared into Leon's own. Tiriana pulled Kei to start moving and the three of them went towards the village.

"It'll take a week to reach the village entrance. If we had a full bloodline elf, he could have called forth a giant silverwolf to take us to the village within 2 days."

Tiriana and Leon were the only one's talking. Kei seemed to like to keep to himself so he just followed the two from behind, just in case enemies attacked. They found a river and decided to camp near it for the night.

"Would you like me to keep watch for the first shift of the night?"

Leon asked the other two.

"No, it's okay. Kei usually keeps watch most of the night. Don't worry and take a good rest."

"Still, I'll feel guilty if I burden you two like this. Just let me watch the first half of the night and Kei can watch the other half."

"Oh, alright. Since you keep insisting. Kei, you don't mind right?"

Kei just shook his head and went to a tree to sit down and lean against. Leon found a fallen tree trunk where they were at and made a little fire pit. He skewered mushrooms again and roasted them over the fire. An appetizing smell floated around them.

"Wow! I didn't know you can roast mushrooms so well Leon! Can I have some?"

"Sure. Ask Kei if he wants some too."

Tiriana went to Kei and asked. Kei shook his head and rested his eyes. Signaling to them not to bother him anymore. Tiriana lowered her voice and she complimented Leon enthusiastically. After dinner, Tiriana moved close to Kei but still kept her distance and covered the spot she had chosen with 2 small blankets. She laid down and immediately slept. Although all of them are close to the fire pit. The distance between Kei and Tiriana was closer than the distance between them and him. Leon didn't care and decided to check up on Kayden. He pulled up the game screen and checked all three rooms. Leon frowned.

'Where did he go? It's been months since I last saw him.'

Leon let out a soft sigh and looked up at the night sky. Glancing at the screen one last time before closing the game. He did what he had said and kept watch for the first part of the night. Kei opened his eyes and went closer to the fire pit. Intending for Leon to get up and he takes over. Leon looks up at Kei standing in front of him.

"Oh, it's time to switch? Sorry, I was lost in thought."

"Un."

Leon was getting up when he heard Kei's vocal response. It was a deep and mellow voice. Just like a cello. He was enchanted. He then became embarrassed and looked down. As he moved his sight away, he caught something under the cloak Kei was wearing. But when he glanced back, it was covered again so he couldn't see. He could tell that it was a necklace. Losing his curiosity, he moved to a tree trunk to lean against. He closed his eyes and chatted with the system for a while before falling asleep.
