48. Hidden Claude

"Did you say the only one? Then what a fool am I! I'm your mother, right in front of you! Why should you care about your dying brother? I deliberately threw him away so that he would die and not trouble you."

The child and the mother reminded him of something, Claude felt that their fate was the same as his, a condition where a mother seemed to hate her child. He immediately ran over to the child and squatted down to the child's height.

"What are the characteristics?" asked Claude curiously, wanting to help.

"Young master needn't bother," interrupted the mother and Claude immediately showed his dislike for the woman.

"I didn't ask you!" shouted Claude emotionally, as he looked at the poor child, his face broke into a smile.

"What are his features, dear?" asked Claude gently.
