ELLIS' POV

It has been a week but there's no replies, calls, and even a surprise visit to the house. If I were to decide I would visit him just to make sure that he's doing well because he even not contacting mom, so I am assuming that something went wrong. He always updates mom but...

"Ellis."

There's no sign of him, nothing at all. It's like he forgot about me. Did I do something wrong? Did I say something that offended him? But all of these thoughts don't make any sense, because first of all, words or even actions would not fit into why Eros is not replying or contacting me. He's not like this, so it's making me alarmed.

"Ellis!"

I woke up from my thoughts when Xen Li called my name, "What?"

"Did you hear what I've said?"

"No, because I don't care," I answered and leaned my head again on the table.
