5 I hate you

Lu Mingyu let his words drop on deaf ears as he continued down the stairs to the dining hall. He pulled a seat back and released his wrist. "Sit down," he ordered monotonously.

YanJun's legs shook, and he did not hesitate to sit down to catch his breath. "I hate you," he spat out for the second time since he came into the house.

Lunch was served and Lu Mingyu said nothing to him until the part of the table before him had appetizing dishes laid on it. The delicious aroma filled his nose but he chose to ignore it. He ignored Lu Mingyu and the food as he stared ahead.

"You must eat," Lu Mingyu ordered YanJun coldly. When his words were ignored, he was stopped and stood up. He was not used to getting disobeyed since he became rich. "I was trying to be nice," Lu Mingyu told him so softly he could almost argue that those words were spoken by different people.

He was forced to look at Mingyu but when he met his gaze, he regretted that decision as the coldness in those eyes held a dark aura that would remind anyone of death, cold brutal death. He began resigning to his fate since death had come for him.

"You must eat or I will not hold back and I want you to know that you will get hurt," the man warned him as he narrowed his eyes dangerously.

Yan Jun swallowed and looked away feeling the hairs on his body rise in response to the short glance they exchanged.

Beads of sweat on the back of his neck rolled down under the collar of his shirt as he looked down at the well-laid table it could be rated a five-star with the neatness and the appetizing sight of each dish.

His hands shook as he was forced to give in. He concluded that he was dealing with a psychopath and despite how hard he was trying to act tough and fearless of death, he was unwilling to die.

At least, not yet. He has been betrayed by all those he loved and he was unwilling to have his life end this way. he did not want the man to kill him. He believed he could and that cold soulless look in those brown eyes scared the courage out of him.

He picked up the spoon and dug it into the bowl of rice. His hands shook slightly as he reached for his mouth but he endured and took the spoonful of rice.

He flinched when he felt a hand approaching his head but he was stuck at that moment, he could not avoid it. The hand pats his head gently. When he raised his head to look at the owner of the hand, the man smiled at him.

The smile was so soft he could swear that it did not come from his abductor. "I like seeing you eat," the man told him softly and pulled away his hand. "Please eat slowly so you don't hurt your stomach." The man carefully poured a mug of milk and placed it beside his hand.

Yan Jun almost choked when he suddenly thought that it was not that bad. he wanted to slap himself back to reality but he bit his lower lips before reaching for the mug of milk.

If this ensures his safety long enough for him to find an escape route or come up with an effective escape plan, then he might go along with the man in his crazy act.

The man was taken aback by the younger man's response which was far from the resistance he expected and it pleased him but it was not difficult to see the hidden agenda in the man's eyes.

He watched him eat slowly. Anyone seeing that would wonder why this handsome powerful man was watching another man-eating, only eating but only the heart's owner understands its feeling.

YanJun wanted to eat all the food but he was forced to stop with only one-third of the rice eaten. He felt over feed. He raised his head wondering how this crazy psychopath will react. He picked up his spoon and tried to take another spoon with his lips pressed together.

"It is best you don't eat too much," that deep voice he has been made familiar with advised him as a firm palm rested on his hand warmly.

He swallowed holding back the strong urge he felt to pull his hand away but feel had him frozen in place. "I . . ." he began with a hoarse voice. He cleared his throat and continued, "I am grateful for the meal."

"It is okay," the man replied calmly with a warm smile lifting the corners of his lips. "You should eat all your meals from now onward."

Wen Yanjun swallowed hard before nodding reluctantly. He had to play the good boy role as best as he could. He stood up when the man took his spoon away from him.

********

Wen YanJun's patience was wearing out after playing the good boy for so long. He was well-taken care of but he was no different from a prisoner.

It made him restless. He watched TV but he did not see any news about his disappearance. He was not reported missing after his return that was anticipated by his fans, it was very quiet, unusually quiet.

He could not access the internet to check social media but he would not be surprised if it was equally quiet there too. That scared him more as he knew he might remain there forever. All his dreams and hopes will get thrown out of the window.

There was a soft knock on the door as he placed a stroke behind seven others on the notepad he saw in the room and used to account for the days he has spent. He put the notepad on the bedside table and invited the person in.

His breakfast was served by a couple of faces he has become familiar with as they have been taking care of him for more than seven days now.

"I want to talk to you," he told the older woman who stood by to watch the younger women serve his meal. He has been eating in his room since that day.

The woman bowed and remained after the women left.

"Sit down," he told her gesturing to the sofa across the table where that man sat down the last time, he entered this room.

The woman was reluctant at first but she sat down elegantly with a warm smile.
