2 You Lost?

It's been weeks since Alfie figured out he was actually in the Marvel universe, and he has been doing nothing but spacing out.

His many friends kept asking why they haven't played together for a long time now.

But Alfie wasn't thinking anything of it, his mind was somewhere else.

If this was the MCU, then would the Asgardians and Sorcerers be around at the moment? Because the Asgardians live long lives as well as the Sorcerers somehow.

That is all he has been thinking of since he wanted a ticket into the life of chaos.

He has been doing exercises but it won't do anything much so he used most of his time to learn about things to expertise in.

Learning how to build things like the Starks could grant him an advantage as he build some things for himself, it was good timing too as this worlds weaponry isn't up to date with the modern weapons.

He had already decided, well guaranteed himself that he will join with Rogers just to follow along with the plot, it felt stupid to him but he wanted to.

His parents disliked his ideas of going to the military even though he never asked them, they even made the military sound like a scary place.

Sometimes Alfie forgets he is a kid and all.

When he was a baby he didn't let it get to him the fact that he can't do anything for a while, he just had to be very lazy to pass a year and some to start walking and talking.

And he never made it seem like he was too much of a genius to his parents so as to not get too much attention.

Though he didn't know about his personal past he has knowledge of advanced subjects such as physics or calculus.

And it sometimes feel like it's not his head because he knows he doesn't know shitt about them yet it's there whenever he thinks about it.

It's like it's not even his head sometimes, it is like an A.I. In his head that gives him the answers whenever he asks.

But the opportunity to use these smarts haven't shown to use it outwardly.

And using them for oth-

*PAH*

"Pay attention McBride!! I don't care if you have full scores in every class, don't wander off!!" The female teacher said as she slammed a ruler on his desk, the other students laugh.

"Sorry Ms.Grinnley, hehe." Alfie said sheepishly.

'Maybe I should advance to higher grades, these classes aren't doing anything.' Alfie thought.

And though he thought of this, in a few weeks he wouldn't mind staying in these classes.

After school ended the Morris pack gathered up for a plan of the day.

(Their neighborhood is called Morris Park, so they named themselves after that)

But they couldn't find Alfie.

Already hundreds of meters away from the school Alfie sat in a bus looking out the window doing more thinking.

Alfie knew that going to far places alone was dangerous but he gotta take some risks.

He had the body of a young kid and he couldn't do much if ganged up by adults, but he did have a concealed knife and a metal pipe in his bag incase he needs it.

From The Bronx to Manhattan it took more than 30 minutes, almost an hour because of some traffic holdup.

He had to step in and out of two busses before arriving in greenwich.

He doesn't know why he knows this but he does, the exact address of a house.

As he landed on Greenwich he looked around not exactly knowing the place.

Alfie stepped up to an adult near a flower shop and asked.

"Excuse me sir?"

"Hmm? Oh yes how can I help little man?" A black man with a vintage straw-hat answered.

"Uhh, do you know where Bleek- blee- bleck-...ugh why now...uuh !! Bleecker street!! Do you know where Bleecker street is?" Alfie asked.

"Hahaha why yes, yes I do in fact you are on the opposite corner of Greenwich where on that corner is Greenwich." The man explained pointing behind the young Alfie.

"Hmm thank you." Alfie said before walking off as the man just smiled looking at him.

There wasn't exactly much landmarks here, at least not like modern times so Alfie had trouble locating places.

He didn't know what he could find at the New York Sanctum but he has give it a try.

Soon enough he spotted the same building he has seen many times on TV, something that was just introduced not too long ago.

He stood across the road staring at the familiar house, now was the time to have doubts.

'Even if I did go in there would I even be able to learn anything? What would I even want to learn? I mean the portal sounds dope but I'm more of a brute kind of guy and being a Wizard isn't exactly my self calling- stop thinking, just step and knock'

Alfie crossed the road and walked up the stairs standing in front of the two door wooden gate.

*Bang* x2

Alfie knocked and waited nervously.

Not long it was open, on the door was a black man with yellow robes.

He saw Alfie and then looked around the area before looking back at Alfie as if he wasn't a big deal.

"You lost?" That was the first thing he said.

Alfie looked at him and cleared his throat before opening them...just to freeze.

'Shitt what was I suppose to say when the door opens? I didn't think that far ahead...' he froze in thought.

"If you need anything there is a police station a few blocks that way." The man said before closing the door.

Alfie shook his head and stopped thinking too much, he cleared his throat and huffed some confidence and knocked again.

*Bang* x2

"Yes?" The asked again looking a bit annoyed.

"I'm here to learn magic." Alfie said with a straight face.

"•••"

*Bang*

The door closed again.

"Aah, Hey didn't you hear me?!"

Alfie spent a minute banging at the door only to hear the man say 'go away' on the other side.

And so Alfie left, but he vowed to come back the next day.

And also vowed not to think too much as it made him feel like a bitch.

•••••••••

For the whole week Alfie went everyday at the same time knocking at the door only to be slammed on the face each time.

But stopped after a while, he then went twice a week because he didn't have money like that to travel so much.

He noticed that he was getting distanced with his crew so he spent time with them to not break the friendship they had, they were the first people he knew when he came to this world other than his parents.

Plus, it they were his origin.

It wasn't until the 4th week that something unexpected happened.

As he stood on the same door and knocked like he did every week, someone else opened the door.

Someone he knew, someone that looked exactly like the one he knew.

"Hello, I hear you have been knocking on my doors for some time now?" The person asked.

"Ancient One." Alfie muttered.

"Oh? You seem to already know me, how curious." She said smiling genuinely.

"Would you like to come in?" She asked.

"Uh, yes please." Alfie said.

As they sat and talk, Alfie was surprised The Ancient One doesn't know who he was.

He thought she would pull that move where she already knows about his name and everything about his life.

She also didn't ask how he knew of the Sanctum, he was glad she didn't ask.

"And why do you want to learn magic?" She asked.

"Umm, not to be disrespectful or anything but is there a way we can skip all this talk and straight to the point?" Alfie smiled almost not wanting the moment to tense up.

The Ancient One took a moment to think before speaking her thoughts.

"Very well, what would you like to learn?" She asked.

"Wait really?! Just like that? I mean not to put myself on the spot but you didn't even ask me how I know this place, aren't you a little laid back?" Alfie asked.

"Everything happens for a reason, once something is made they are made for their own purpose, while a persons life has already been set in stone before they are born.

All fated and destined.

But I believe there are also those fateless and undestined only there to do their own true desires, even if it's by messing up what has already been set in stone." She said as she stands up.

"Huh."

Alfie sat there thoughtfully.

"Come, young McBride." She said as she smoothly walked deeper into the hall Alfie trot after her.

"First will be books, you'll need to learn the languages to cast the spells and incantations required." She said.

"Well actually you see I'm hoping if there is something that could help with my physical abilities instead." Alfie said.

But he was ignored instead, she walked silently.

Before they could be at the end of the hall she raised a hand and waved it before a sorcerers portal appeared.

As Alfie followed behind he eyes the sparkling portal like a beautiful naked women he was looking at.

He soon realized he was somewhere else, and he saw people doing some tai-chi arts waving their hands in circular motion.

They moved further until they arrived at the library.

Alfie slumped, thinking that reading books in another language was inescapable.

"Sit." She said pointing to a chair next to a table before she walked off to a collection of books.

Alfie huffed and sat down thinking about how she is treating him like a kid, which she is.

She came back with 5 fat books on her right hand carrying them like a feather, she placed them on the table.

"Start with Hindu, young McBride."

••••••••••

••••••••••

1 Year Later.

After months of frustrating training Alfie was able to achieve making a full portal, although a bit wobbly.

He would spent every week going to the Sanctum until night before the Ancient One makes a portal to his house sensing him home.

But nowadays he can easily move back and forth from there and his town.

Though he has to use the ring or it it won't work.

Now he was focusing on his more desired lessons.

There wasn't much to learn to for Sorcerers, but there was one school of magic that would help advance his physical abilities.

[Chi Magic]

Now he wasn't sure exactly how the people of K'un-Lun does it but for Sorcerers to summon the Chi energy, there was a few steps to it.

To touch the energies of Chi which was in the body one had to say a certain phrase in the languages of old that uses magic.

Like Sanskrit, Hindi, Arabic, or even Latin.

The certain foreign languages makes a connection from the invisible energies to the physical world before shaping it into the desired forms.

Alfie could have sworn his brain smoked up a few times from The Ancient Ones words and lessons.

But he still held up and learned as best as he can.

Surprisingly he learned few basics from Sanskrit and Hindi.

And he was looking up all he can about the world of Chi in those languages, when the time comes to use Chi he would have to say the summoning phrases as quick as he can in him mind before opening the Chi in his body.

He also have thoughts of learning some [Runic] magic but for now he was fully focused on Chi.

His life outside was now somewhat normal, his friends are still together more or less.

He and most of them are now 10 years old and in 5th grade before going to middle school.

Next year they would enter middle school and Alfie can't wait until he gets back into adult shape.
