The Promise

"Will you marry me?" Blubbering and sobbing.

"What's wrong with you, miss?"

I only have asked you a very simple question.

"Will you marry me?" Weeping heart out.

"Miss, please stop crying."

"Let me me know if I can help you with."

"Marry me sir." Telling as if it's a last day of mine in this world.

"What do you want, miss?"

"You!" I replied very politely.

"But I don't know you well, how can I marry someone I don't know."

"You will know me soon if you say YES", Sobbing.

"Miss, stop crying first and please give me time to think on it."

"I will wait for your answer."

"OK miss."

Elsa needs to know what she is doing.

She should stop herself or she would go mad.

She is in love with someone not because he is the last person in the world to marry with but because he is the only person worth loving. He is the only person, she found very close to God. He is the only person whom Elsa found the most beautiful person inside-out. She wished to put a daring step to come forward and ask him to be her partner- her soulmate. She was proposed multiple times by other young handsome men, but she refused because she couldn't find spirituality, a connection of God in them. She always wanted to be among the favorite servants of God. For that she wanted a partner who is with God and God is within him.

Proposing someone for marriage is not a sin until it crosses all limits.

Yes, but you within your limits have a complete right to choose a partner who you are ready to spend your life with.

The eagerness and impatience of waiting curiously for his response made her even closer to God.

She asked God:

"Dear God, You better know what have I done and if he is a right person for me please make him mine and give me this opportunity to offer you my submission with him and bless me with your love by him and bless me this opportunity to submit my prostration of gratitude on my wedding night with him as I can start my new life by taking Your name."

She talked to God as if he(Ryan) has answered YES.

Certainly it was her faith on God and she knew he would say yes.

Soon after it was a picture sent on her contact and it was he with a very beautiful young girl having his hands on her shoulder very lovingly and holding her right hand.

She abruptly asked him, "Who is she?"

He replied: "My fiancee."

She burst into tears and once again asked him: "Who is she?"

He replied: "My beautiful fiancee."

He said that soon he is going to marry her.

"Miss, please for God's sake, you live your life happily and stop thinking about me."

"You are very beautiful young girl, you may find someone who deserves you."

" I am not made for you."

She didn't reply him and remained silent for hours and hours.

She trusted God, and believed that it can't be true.

"She replied him after 3 days, and asked him if it was a lie that he spoke to her about her fiancee."

On insisting alot, Ryan finally told her that it was a lie, she is Sary, his niece.

"I did this because I didn't want to disturb your life."

"Ok, I will talk to my father about you."

His father was not at all interested to hear any other girl's name for his son because he has already selected a girl for him.

He too had fixed the date of his engagement.

When Ryan told his father that he wanted to marry a girl named Elsa, he burst into anger and told him to forget her because he had already fixed a date of his engagement.

"I'm sorry, miss."

"For what?"

"I told my father about you but he is not at all ready to hear your name because he has already selected a girl for me in fact he has fixed my engagement after two days."

"Now if you are ready to marry me, I can put a bold step for you to ask my sister's husband for his help and and just a sign away on a wedding document."

"No sir, I want you to be mine with dignity not like this."

"Miss, then forget me and forgive me."

"I can't help you."

She cried and cried and asked him not to do this but he couldn't help himself insisting his father for her so she left this matter on God.

She worshiped God and prayed a lot that night when it was his engagement.

"Where is Ryan?" Father asked.

"The girl is waiting, she is ready and what would I answer her family that my son has run away from this engagement."

Father cried.

Ryan ran away and didn't do this engagement and he was ashamed too of doing this shameful act of leaving a girl who waited for him on their engagement.

She was Somar which means a beautiful butterfly.

She was also a very nice girl but Ryan didn't accept her as he was confused or he was not ready to marry any girl until he decided.

Indeed his father was embarrassed. He asked his pardon and left their home by saying.

"I will bring my son at your doorstep whatever the treatment you people want to have with him, you all can."

Ryan's father left their home and reached his home and what did he find on his gate, it was he-his son-Ryan.

He slapped him and told him that he didn't do a dignified job that he should clap for him.

He realized him that his son has not only embarrassed him but has hurt a complete family. His father was weeping a lot.

Indeed it was a heart wrenching night for everyone.

Elsa got a message from Ryan.

"MISS, I PROMISE I WILL MARRY YOU."

Elsa was delightful to hear this but also doubtful to hear this answer directly like that.

She didn't even realize what scene took place at Ryan's home.

Ryan prayed to God and asked Him His forgiveness for hurting everyone specially that girl named Somar and of course his father too.

He put his hand on his father's feet when he fell asleep.

He asked his father to forgive him because he wanted to marry Elsa as he has promised her.

He forgave him after all he loved his son more than everyone.

His father asked him to go with him at Somar's home and apologize everyone specially Somar.

He went with his father, apologized everyone but Somar didn't forgive him.

Somar liked Ryan but Ryan didn't.

Somar's parents forgave Ryan and he left their home without meeting Somar because Somar didn't want to see their face ever.

Somar was not written in a book of fortune for Ryan and indeed you are blessed with a partner who is already written for you by God and the ink of pen is dried in the book of fortune so one can't erase it.

Somar had deserved a good partner who loved her a lot and it was someone at her bank where she worked had loved her a lot, Somar knew that but was not ready to accept him as her life partner. Finally she married him who loved her a lot.

She spent a very happy life with him.

Ryan went to her office and apologized her and told her he was never interested in her ever. He was only obeying the decisions taken by his father, but he told her that he liked a girl named Elsa and he has promised her to marry her and indeed God doesn't like those who don't keep their words. This is how Somar forgave Ryan.
