6. A New Ship

It was only three days after leaving Skypiea that we came upon the Ling Long Islands. We found a man stranded on stilts. After rescuing him we found out he is part of a tribe that lives in the Island Chain. He was accidentally abandoned after being stuck on the stilts. We talked about giving him a ride to his tribe before the large galleon of the Foxy Pirates arrived on the island.

Jumping down and approaching us Foxy speaks pointing to our ship. " Are you a pirate crew? I don't believe I've seen that flag before. You must be Newbie pirates. I challenge you and your crew to a Davey Back Fight. "

Liffy being Luffy instantly agrees. Foxy's crew jumps instantly jumps into action. They immediately started building stands like they were holding a festival. We enjoyed the atmosphere for an hour before the events started.

The Foxy pirates tried to cheat. But we were so much stronger than them that we dominated them. We ended up taking half their food, Weapons and Flag. They ended up leaving with their new flag drawn by Luffy. It was hilarious seeing their distaste when they had to raise the flag. After they left Liffy and I felt Akoji land on the island. I told the crew that Luffy and I had something to handle. They should all get to the ship. When we got to Akoji we was near the beach leaning against a cliff.

" Oh both of you came. The Captain and First Mate of the Straw Hat Pirates you two are pretty amazing. This island may not be to big but to be able to detect me from so far away. It shows the massive Potential you two have. I was only ordered to confirm that Nico Robin was with you guys by the Goresai. But seeing you two. I think maybe I should take you all in. It'll save the World Government a headache in the future. " Akoji said straightening up and starting to look like he is thinking.

" If you want my NAKAMA YOU BETTER BE PREPARED TO FIGHT! " Luffy said releasing the strongest Conquers Haki I have felt, as his fist instantly were encased in Armament Haki. It wasn't directed at me but my sword grip loosened for a few milliseconds. Even Akoji, an Admiral, took a single step.

" Even Conquers Haki at this level already. Its decided. You're all going to Impel Down today. " Akoji said getting into his fighting stance. His face was serious glancing between Luffy and I before he moved. I could barely make out his figure before he was in front of me. He swung an ice sword at me. Using Observation I narrowly redirected his attack and tried to kick him. But I hit open air as his blade locked with Luffy's. Luffy had entered Second Gear at the start a fight. There blades kept hitting I tried to attack Akoji from behind but was kicked away. When Suddenly Akoji's weapon broke apart Luffy pulled back his naginata twisting his arms before they shot forward catching fire.

" Penetrating Red Rifle! " Luffy yelled as his arms shot forward twisting faster the closer it got to Akoji. It was so fast and I had distracted him to much in that moment. Like I said Luffy is a genius when it comes to fighting. Akoji was no slouch though and managed to only be narrowly hit on the side. He now had a whole the size of a baseball missing from his left side. He immediately freezes it closed.

" It seems I underestimated you two. " Akoji said ominously. His arms were immediately encased in Haki. Before he disappeared and reappeared pummeling us both, the frost was slowly boiling up on my body as it melted from Luffy. Eventually I managed to grab Him catching him off guard. In his moment of surprise I kicked the back of his head and Luffy kicked his stomach. Letting Akoji go he flew through the air before he flipped landing on his feet sliding back through the ground.

" I had heard from Garp that you could cancel out Devil Fruits. But experiencing it is a totally different experience. Alright you two are going down now. " Akoji says giving me a curious look

Before he refocuses on the fight. As he was talking Luffy entered Gear 4 Bounceman

We nodded at each other and attacked.

With his superior Observation it wasn't difficult For him to weave in between our attacks. Luffy seeing even with Bounceman's speed boost he couldn't seriously hit Akoji he ju.mped back. I tried fighting Akoji alone for a minute but was blasted back by an ' Ice Pheasant' attack. Luffy reentered the fight with me. Now with Snakeman's unreadable attack trajectories we were finally able to coordinate and land a few blows on Akoji. After three minutes of fighting, where Akoji had to try to dodge Luffy's attacks while making sure he isn't being touched by my hands. I can only land hits with my sword or feet. Seeing Luffy getting tired I jump back fro. Akoji with Luffy. Seeing this Akoji let's out a huge Ice Age I Counter with a mix of Black Water and Black Hole. Using my Gravity and Darkness control. I generate as much Darkness and Gravity as I can sucking in his ice and halting his attack. That's when Luffy in Bounceman now disappeared to the right oc Akoji. With his focus on me Luffy smashes Akoji with a Kong Gun knocking him into the ocean. He froze the ocean and slowly got back up to his feet spitting up a mouthful of blood.

" Yeah you guys are to much trouble. I already did my job. No need to get injured now that I'm on vacation. " Akoji says walking back to his bike. Seeing that we wait until he leaves the island before returning to the crew. I can see that it had a negative affect on Robin. The trauma of Ohara runs deep in here.

I noticed it from training with Garp that practicing with someone stronger allows you to grow much faster than usual. It also seems like a serious fight with an opponent much stronger than you allows you skills to grow even faster. It seems the element of danger strengthens your Will, Combat and Haki abilities to an absurd degree.

Later Akoji was explaining everything about the Straw Hats and how their meeting went. Sengoku knowing Akoji's temperament thought the Straw Hats were weaker than Akoji reported. He figured Akoji just felt lazy and decided to let them go. Then not to get into trouble we would overexagerate their strength. Thinking this he decided to just inform CP9 to handle the Nico Robin situation. Unfortunately he was correct that Akoji didn't say how strong they really were. Because of the Pirates deal with Garp he actually undersold their strength. Though he did mention Jonny's unique ability to seal Devil Fruit abilities upon contact.

Robin is quieter than usually for the next two days. I try to interact with her but she pretends to be busy with a book while thinking. Eventually we come across train tracks floating on the ocean. We see a flog trying to stop the train he gets smashed off. We quickly retrieve him and bandage him up. Following the tracks we eventually come to Granny Kokoro and Chimney's train station. There we learn the giant frog we saw is actually reenacting a scene it saw performed when it was little. When she finds out we are headed to Water 7 to get a Ship she writes us a recommendation letter to Iceburg. She also warned us about the yearly Aqua Laguna, a huge wave that washes over Water 7, would be happening in three days.

Following the tracks it only takes us one more day to finally see Water 7. Once the workers at the dock find out that we are pirates they just have us go to the docks on the back. Unloading the crew breaks apart to go have fun. Since today we are just selling gold only Nojiko, Nami and I go to exchange the gold. It is a long process. Especially with Nami haggling for almost every piece. At the end of the day we do end up with an additional 2.35 billion bellies. Making our total now 6.65 billion. Just say spend even up to a billion on a ship leaving us still with 5.65 billion. We won't have to worry about money for a long time. That night I tell the crew of a crazy shipwright that would be perfect to build our ship and maybe join our crew.

The next morning Luffy, Zoro, Nami and I went to meet Franky. Walking up to the Frank Family house everyone gave me weird looks. A genius shipwright lived here? Why? There home had a huge junkyard situated around it. Franky and his family usually earned money by dismantling ships. This is also how Franky got material for his inventions. Walking up we knocked on the door. Then two people led us in side to meet with Franky.

" So what do you bastards want? " Franky asked in his gruff voice his arms around his squared haired women.

" Amazing. Your a robot. " Luffy shouted upon seeing him his eyes now stars.

" Hehe I am pretty amazing. But your wrong. I'm not a robot. I'm a SUPER awesome Cyborg. I run on Cola. " He said explaining. even popping open his chest to show us his soda inside.

" Amazing. Awesome. That's it I decided you are gonna join my crew as my Robot. " Luffy says happily before looking at Franky terminatedly.

" What who said anything about joining your shitty pirate chew? " Franky said now appearing upset.

" Luffy we can talk about him joining later. We should talk about what we want to hire him to do first. " I say trying to steer the conversation back on course.

" Shishishi. Alright Jonny. But you'll join Cyborg guy. Just wait and see. " Luffy says laughing.

After that Nami and I talk about everything the crew would like the new ship to have. A big ship around the size of a Galleon shaped more like a Brig Sloop, an aquarium for fresh fish, a hatch for a submarine to come in and out of, a huge separated bath, personal rooms, personal bathrooms, a giant kitchen, a huge freezer, a huge room to relax in, a crows nest with a library, an inventing room, a clean room for surgeries, a big doctor's office, a room for a shipwright, a music room, weaponry, for the whole thing to be run on electricity, a huge battery and anything else cool he could think of. We also mentioned we wanted the whole ship made of Adam Wood but he could chose the design details. I also told him about our old ships keel being made of adam wood and wanting a way to use that for something he said he would have to check it out.

After looking it over he said it was usable for an idea he had. He had a bit of a crazy gleam in his eyes, so I was excited. Then we told him about Dials and all there abilities. Then I pulled the Fials and the submarine out of my inventory. He looked like a kid on a sugar rush playing with all the stuff. He said he could order the Adam Wood today and it should arrive in a week it would cost 1.5 billion bellies to make the whole ship out of Adam Wood but it would be worth it. It would also come with extra adam wood incase we need repairs he got enough to make the ship 1.5 times. This way we would always have the rare material on hand for repairs. After that he said for such a big job he would talk to Iceburg and seeing about working together. He said if he agrees they should be able to make the ship in as little as two weeks at most four weeks.

After that we enjoyed lunch and waited for everyone to return as Franky left. The last to return at nightfall was Chopper. He had tears running down his face. Bumping into things as he ran towards us then screamed, " Guys its Robin. She's lost. I can't find her. "

Everyone was worried but after an hour of searching we still couldn't find her. Everyone was worried but since we would be here for at least 2 weeks we knew we would find her. I figured it must be Blueno's Fruit he must have Robin in her space it must be why I can't reach her. I decide I'll let this play out it should be a good way to get bounties. That'll make Luffy happy. It should also help heal Robin's heart.

The next morning we wake up to the shocking news Robin tried to assassinate Iceburg. Everyone is worried about him and the upcoming Aqua Laguna, later today. Everyone was shocked. We immediately sent out to find her. I had to delay everyone sometimes but we didn't find any clue of Robin until Iceburg woke up. He told us how it wasn't Robin but CP9 who tried to kill him. He told us how CP9 kidnapped Robin and Franky, after finding out he was Cutty Flam when he went to visit Iceburg. He told us they were taking us to Enies Lobby. The Judicial Center of the World Government where all criminals were tried. They took the Sea Train 20 minutes before he woke. After saying that he got up gathered a team and started fixing up the Puffing Tom, the original Sea Train model, to get us there in time to save them.

It only took them 40 minutes to repair the train. After promising to also save Franky we got his friends to stay here. The Sttawhats were on there way to Enies Lobby. Because this was a serious mission we all took off our belts and I stored them. Along the way we ran into the Aqua Laguna but Zoro now so much stronger completely cleared a path 50 times wider than the train.

" I guess I overdid it a bit. I need to get used to my strength. " Zoro said scratching his cheek. Zoro wore his gravity belt unless we were fighting and even usually then he would have his belt on in some sort of way. He has even almost caught up to me. I am at ×19.8 and he is at ×15.6 he is slowly closing the gap that I had between us.

After 3 hours due to the Puffing Tom being faster we finally saw Enies Lobby. We came up with a simple plan. Crash in the front door. Move in a group. Rescue Robin and Frankie. Then escape. Unfortunately all plans have to be pretty simple or Luffy will ruin them.

Crashing onto the island we charge into groups of marines as alarms blare in the background announcing an attack on the island. Smashing the grunts into the ground I decide to just start using my Conquers Haki to take out some of the grunts Luffy seeing this smirked and did the same freeing up space for the crew to move. Nami was zipping around shocking Marines left and right. Mikita would fly up high in the air before slamming into groups of marines. Zoro and Sanji would take out anyone near them. Chopper in his Kung-Fu point would kick one person into another before flipping away. Kaya was seen swinging her arma out trapping marine to the wall and ground with honey.. Nojiko was blasting groups of Marines switching between her sub machine guns when people got closer and her rifle to take out snipers. Ussop was firing rapidly causing multiple explosions with every shot.

We kept charging until we came upon the gate guarded by the Three Vice Admiral Giants. Luffy seeing them shouted out to them, " Wow. Look guys they have giants. Hey Giant Guys! Do you know Dorry and Brogy? "

" Little one, did you say Captain Dorry and Captain Brogy? Where did you see them? I thought they were locked in Impel Down. " The Middle giant says.

" Oh, Shishishi we saw them on Little Island. It was the first island we went to on the Grandline. They have been fighting there for the last 100 years to see who is stronger. " Luffy told them.

" Haha that sounds like the Captains. " The giant on the left says.

" Hey wait a second. If The Captains aren't in Impel Down. That means the Marine's lied to us for 50 years!" The giant on the right said with a thoughtful expression before getting angry.

" Those damn liars! We wasted 80 years here. They said if we protected here they wouldn't execute the Captains! What are you guys here for anyway? " The middle giant says angrily before calming down.

" Were here to save our Nakama. " Luffy says simply.

" Bwhahaha I can't think of a better reason to come. Give us a few minutes us Three will clear the way. Take it as a thanks for telling us about the Captains. " The Middle giant said. Then as one the three giants turned around got to the gate and hit it as hard as they could. The giant gate flew off the wall slamming into dozens of marines. Just when the marines thought it was over the three giants charged out of the hole. They demolished everyone in there path. After a five minute breather we charge out. Making our way into the Courthouse we finally encounter marines again. Everyone is running around fighting. Up ahead I can see 2 of the giants fighting the three headed judge. Deciding to help I appear behind the judge and with two quick Finger Pistols the. left and right head drop dead. The judge missteps then and is crushed by the two giants. I reunite with my friends to go save Robin.

On the rooftop across from the Tower of Justice we are lined up around Luffy. We can see Robin crying as Spandam pulls out onto the balcony by her hair. Luffy seeing this yells out, " ROBIN! "

Seeing us all there she shouts back face down tears streaming down her face, " What are you guys doing here? I left to keep you all safe. To keep you from dying like everyone else. My enemy is too powerful for you guys! Continue on your adventure! Find the One Piece. Become the Pirate King. Just forget about me and move on!"

" See that flag up there Staw Hat? That's the flag of the World Government. It represents over 170 countries and the might of the Marines. You stand no chance against that type of power. " Spandam says looking smug as he points to the flag.

"EVERYONE SHOOT IT DOWN. " Luffy says quietly.

Just like that we all fire our projectile attacks at the flag. I don't know if it's because it's an anime world but all of out attacks, including Kaya's Honey Javelin which should be much slower than my Rokugun Air Cannon, hit the flag at the exact same time completely obliterating it. Seeing this Robin and Spandam are gobsmacked. Spandam then runs back into the room to call CP9 but accidentally grabs the Den Den Snail for the Buster Call. Seeing he grabbed the wrong one he corrects that and calls CP9 to deal with the Straw Hats. Never caring or noticing that he accidentally initiated a Buster Call. While this was happening Luffy and Robin talked.

" Why would you do that? Don't you want to live? You didn't even have a bounty you could have been free but now you'll be the enemy of the World Government. They will never stop chasing you. Trust me I know. " Robin said sadly.

" I don't care who I make as enemy Robin!" Luffy yelled back as is Conquers Haki leaked from his body. Knowing what was coming and wanting to kind of steal the moment I well with Luffy unleashing my Conquers Haki with as much intensity and spirit I can into my words saying it at the same time as Luffy, " WE STILL HAVEN'T HEARD YOU SAY IT YET, ROBIN! SAY THAT YOU WANT TO LIVE! "

Tears and snot streaming down her face Robin looks at us and screams back to us before callapsing, " I WANT TO LIVE! "

" Jonny go get her. Oh yeah and that Franky guy, he is gonna build our ship. We have some enemies to handle. We also need to find Robin's key." Luffy says with a serious expression. He has clearly detected CP9 headed in our direction. Then the Straw Hats move out to fight CP9 and get Robin's handcuff key.

Nami, Nojiko and Kaya make quick work of Kalifa. While her bubbles did help her block some of Nojiko's shots and slip out of Kaya's honey. It almost made no deterrent to Nami's thunder and after she was shocked and shot. She was trapped in honey, everything but her mouth to breathe.

Sanji fought Jabra. Jabra used his Wolf Fruit and mastery of Rokushiki to try and swiftly take down Sanji. Jabra was shocked by Sanji's use of Soru. The fact that he was faster and seemed to be better at it intimidated him a bit. He tried to block Sanji's flurry of attacks but eventually Sanji landed a solid attack stunning Jabra. before finishing him with a Hell Memories, in this attack Sanji lights his whole body ablaze and attacks. This attack lights the opponent on fire. Jabra looked half burnt after the fight and Sanji lit a cigarette off of himself before the flame went out.

Zoro fought against Kaku. This was a fight of the Three Sword Style against the Giraffe Four Sword Style. Unfortunately for Kaku, Zoro didn't go easy on him. Seeing how much stronger MIhawk, Jonny and Luffy were than him had catapulted him too a height way beyond what his level was in the original story. Zoro finished with off with a Great Dragon Twister. He blew the roof off of his part of the building.

Chopper's fight was pretty interesting against Blueno. Chopper tried fighting him in Kungfu point but wasn't able to break his Tekkai. His Heavy Point wasn't fast enough to hit him. As the fight continued Chopper turned into his brain point. Analyzing the weak points on his technique he learned Blueno couldn't move while using Tekkai. Chopper made up his mind and attacked in Kungfu before shifting to the Heavy form at the last moment. This finally managed to break Blueno's Tekkai. Then Chopper hammered him until he was passed out on the ground. Chopper shifted back to normal panting. He was happy his Rumble Ball lasted the whole fight.

Ussop's fight was against Fukurou. Ussop's fight was by far the closest. Since he only had a rudimentary grasp on most of the Rokushiki, specializing in the leg techniques. It became a game of Ussop running and away and dodging as he tried to find the perfect opportunity to counter attack. He didn't know it but during this fight due to his will, concentration and the threat to his life he managed to awaken his Observation Haki. After that moment the fight started to slide in his favor. He started hitting Fukurou's limbs more and even hit his body a few times. Before Fururou over extended on a strike Ussop dodged. Ussop took this time to hit him in the face with a pepper spray bullet, temporarily blinding Fururou. Then Usopp swept his legs out from under him. Ending him by slamming his head into the ground repeatedly. Walking away Ussop was bloodied but looked pretty intense with various cuts on his body and even two holes from finger Pistols he couldn't completely dodge.

Luffy's fight couldn't even be called that. At first Lucci tried to act all intimidating flashing around the room before being blasted back by a yawning Luffy.

" Geez pigeon guy. You're weak. Why are you trying to act scary? Shishishi. " Luffy said picking his nose bored with the fight.

Seeing that he couldn't beat him like this he shifted into his Cheetah hybrid form. Then tried again attacking Luffy with various Claw Pistols. Luffy just closed his eyes and looked like he was swaying back and forth. In actuality with his Haki he could perceive each attack clearly and avoided them easily. It almost locked like a dance one constantly stabbing forward as the other swayed between his arms. Before it seemed Luffy had enough. Reappearing behind Lucci, in Gear 2, Luffy finished him off with a Red Rifle.

While everyone was fighting I did a few things myself. After getting over to Robin, we went into the Spandam's office. He was just hanging up the phone as we entered the room.

" Alright jackass. If you want to live. Tell me which agent has the keys for Robin and Franky. " I say to Spandam putting my sword to his throat. After he tells me, Robin and I go to where Franky is being held captive. This is where I would fight with Nero and Kumadori. But knowing that Nero is pretty weak. I just blitz Kumadori and decapitate him and Nero vefore they know what's going on.

" Aaahhh. What the hell did you twos guys' heads just fall off. " Franky asked in shock before seeing me and joking." If I knew you guys wanted me as tour Shipwright this bad. I would have just joined on Water 7 hahaha.

Then I cut the bars and lead them around collecting everyone as there battles end. I also take Every Devil Fruit I can. I make away with the Bubble, Cheetah, Grey Wolf and Door Fruits. The Door fruit is the best one in my opinion. It's kind of like Brulee's Devil Fruit without the need for mirrors. Making our way out we steal a marine battleship. After I break in it's easy to open the Gates of Justice letting us escape. As we are leaving we can see the Buster Call heading in from the opposite direction. Thinking we are marines as we are all disguised. They let us go and launch the Buster Call destroying Enies Lobby and killing at least 15 times as many Marines as we did. We don't try to kill and usually hold back a little, even Zoro. We killed maybe 200 Marines, including CP9 and Spandam.

It only took a day of sailing to reach Water 7 but it was a wreck. Thankfully Iceburg and Galley Law, his shipwright business, put the Sparrow in a safe warehouse near the middle of town. Once we reached the island everyone seemed to breath a collective sigh of relief. We were all back together safe. All we needed to do was relax and train as our new ship is built by Two of the best Shiowrights in the world. They even decided to look over Pluton and incorporate some of its abilities onto our ship. It seems for alot of Pluton's weapons you needed the Light or Thunder Fruit or some similar ability to power it. Using this and the Dials our Ship could even fly certain distances, with recharging between uses.
