1 Staring at You

It was the month of the cold November at the Capital Airport. A girl wearing a white hoodie with skin tight denim jeans walked out of the airport. She only carried a black travel backpack and a small suitcase. As she passed by a lot of people, everyone was attracted to her mysterious aura and charming beauty around her. Her eyes were covered by sunglasses that she bought abroad. It added mystery to signify her poise and beauty.

Her fairly tall stature and slim body was enough for all women to envy her. While her translucent porcelain skin would make others afraid to touch her. As if one touch will break her into pieces. Her beautiful dark hair was a great contrast to her skin. Her beauty was enough for everyone to see that she was blessed by the heavens.

She ignored her surroundings while she was on her phone. She searched for her older cousin's number and called her. She waited until she heard her enthusiastic voice.

"Hello Baby! Are you out of the airport now?"

"Yeah. I'm waiting for you. Where are you now?" Jiang Yue asked.

"I got into a traffic jam. Don't worry I'll be there by 25 mins! Wait for me!"

"Okay, Sister Hua."

Jiang Yue hung up her phone and searched for a seat by the side of the airport road. She saw one where a man in dark clothes sat alone. She walked to the bench and sat quietly.

The man turned to look at the girl who sat beside him. She didn't recognize him. However, she felt familiar with the scent coming off from him even though he was 3 inches apart from where he was sitting. His scent was a mix of mint and tobacco. It exudes a lingering smell to the nose, like a touch of a snow.

She ignored the man and focused herself on her phone as he was just a stranger to her.

The man was fair skinned beauty that looks sculpted by the gods. His body looks so strong and sturdy that wearing clothes like his black suit makes him like a King. His thin lips smiled when he was completely ignored by the little girl beside him.

He was alright with her ignoring him and didn't mind it. After all, he's a stranger sitting beside her on the airport bench. It's a normal action for a stranger.

He observed her little actions. Like a wolf studying it's prey, his eyes stayed on her while she read a novel on her phone. He recognized the phone in her hand. It's the latest technology from Hei Yu Corporation and it's one of the limited editions that they sold for 25 million dollars each. They only released 10 of it in the market worldwide with technology that can be used to the places where civilization isn't that advanced as other places would be. He also had one of them. He was lucky enough to get one from that battle.

A girl owning something like this and wearing simple clothes. She isn't that simple as she shows to be.

Her eyes were covered by the sunglasses. But with one peak, you can see her dark long eyelashes that made him want to touch them as they look smooth and meek.

What interests him the most was her eyes. If he forcefully takes off her sunglasses, would her eyes be the same color of the night sky? Or the color that would fascinate him until it sucks him deep?

He looked at his watch to look for the time. His friend wasn't here and he is waiting for an hour already. One of his subordinates that came from the restroom pop out of nowhere and saw the girl sitting beside him. The subordinate wanted to make a move but a hand stopped him.

His master shook his head.

He didn't do anything since his master doesn't want to disturb the girl. The girl looks like she's busy with her phone.

The man in black suit thought a lot about the little girl. How come she can make him want to see more of her?

Before he could tap her and ask her a question to satisfy himself, a black GLE Coupe came honking. The window went down and a woman with a joyful smile shouted eagerly out.

"Xiao Yue! My baby Yue! I've arrived now! You big sister Hua has come to pick you up!!!"

Everyone who was out of the airport heard her and looked at Hua like she did something that bad. It wasn't that bad to shout right?

Jiang Yue sighed. Her older sister Hua didn't change at all.

She stood up and carried everything to the car. It was a bit embarrassing for Sister Hua to shout for her like that.

"Geez, Sister. Next time, just use your phone. If aunt comes to know that you shouted in a public place, she'll whip your ass even if you are almost a full-fledged adult," She warned her. Jiang Hua laughed at her older cousin's silliness.

"Don't mind them. Also, don't tell my mom."

"Fine," she nodded and went inside the car. "Aunt will still know about this soon. You know about my Big Brother Lei having a lot of eyes everywhere."

Jiang Hua shivered. "Why remind me now?"

"You are a bit careless. Anyways, let's go home."

Jiang Hua started the car and drove away with a slight heavy heart. She'll need to run out to work later or her mom will really whip her for her lack of manners at home.

The man in the black suit stared at the car while it left and smiled. He knows that he'll meet her soon again sometime. He received a text from his friend, Zheng Jin.

Zheng Jin: I'm almost there. Wait for me.

He closed his phone and waited on the bench for his friend. He sighed contemplating about how he can finally cure the most important person in his life.

While driving home, Jiang Hua conversed with Jiang Yue about her life abroad for the past 1 and half years. Jiang Yue talked about her travels from one country to another. She only talked about a few details. None of the big ones. Her talk lasted to the last stop of her journey in France.

"Is Big Brother Lei still busy with his work? Does he get rest?"

"Him? Don't worry about that guy! I always heard that some are experiencing his tyranny at the office," Jiang Hua told her. "Also, Xiao Min misses you as well as Xiao Jinjing. I don't know if she still remembers your face but she's as talented and smart as you!"

"Of course. Jinjing came from me, where else would she get those brains and looks?" she joked. Jiang Hua smirked before laughing.

"Haha! If Big Brother He hears you say that, I bet he'll give you one of his precious Patek Phillippe watches. Humph! That guy is as stingy as you remember!"

"Are you two fighting for a watch again?"

"Baby Yue, Big Brother He is a big stingy bear that only cares about his work and his watches. I only just want to see his provoked face when he sees me wearing his precious gold watch! Oh, if you are a bit hungry, I have some banana chips beside me!"

Jiang Yue looks where Sister Hua points out and sees a fresh package of banana chips imported from Philippines. She takes it and bites into the crispy sweet banana chip that she likes to snack on.

"How's work at my mom's?"

"Sweet! Aunt Liu informed me yesterday that if I keep up my stuff being an intern, I can be one of the head designers at her company after graduation!"

"Congrats, Big Sister! Buy me some cake after your graduation," she cheered before taking another bite of her banana chips.

"Wait, I should be the one asking for a cake instead of y-," She paused when she saw Yue's pleading look. "Fine! But I can only buy you one cake at most, Baby Yue. You know that-"

Jiang Yue frowned suddenly. "I know. I already know…"

Seeing her cousin frowning, she changed her topic immediately. Jiang Yue turned to look out of the window to see the small changes of the Capital when she left abroad. She missed a lot.

"By the way, the guy beside you was staring at you earlier. He's got those piercing eyes just like those people from Yu Family," Jiang Hua spoke. "He's weirdly staring at you."

"He might be one of them and him staring at me... Let him stare. Who cares about him?"

"He's hot though. I bet he got those pack muscles underneath the suit he's wearing!"

Jiang Yue chuckled at her older sister's silliness. "Stop it."

"But come on! Really, Xiao Yue? You always amuse me."

Jiang Yue is a person that ignores people a lot. From that time she came back to their family, Jiang Hua saw how this little girl changed from her gloomy self into a person that is able to open herself a bit. Her personality to ignore people is still there and it's her specialty that she likes about Jiang Yue.

They arrived soon at a secluded place by the north of the Capital. Hidden by the tall trees and lush full of nature, the Jiang Family's mansion was kept out of the eyes of the others. Their mansion is simple and not so much fancy decorations of wealth. It can house up to 12 people inside.

They went out of the car. Jiang Yue saw a tall man running to them in his jogging pants. His white sando is leaking sweat and you can see his muscles peeking through them. Jiang Hua can't help looking at his older brother with disgust.

"Ew. I forgot this guy also cares about maintaining his body that badly," Jiang Hua hissed. Jiang He's eyes glared at his younger sister.

"Ha! Says the one who eats junk food when our parents are not around!" He mocked back to her. "What's about my workouts? At least I'm healthy unlike you!"

"What?! Hey, you, Mister-"

"Ah, you two! You should stop that, please! I just got home and you two are fighting already? Jeez, do it in a room," Jiang Yue stopped the two before it became unmanageable. She turned to Jiang He and took off her sunglasses. She pointed her sunglasses to him. "Big Brother He, you should have cleaned up first before approaching us."

Jiang He who was a dog barking at Jiang Hua earlier changed into a sweet puppy wagging its tail to Jiang Yue. "I'm sorry, Xiao Yue. You are right. I should have cleaned up first. Anyways, let me take that bag of yours. It looks heavy. Jiang Hua, you can take her suitcase."

"I really can't believe this guy is my older brother. Baby Yue, look at how partial he treats me!" She complained to her. She took her suitcase while he took her bag. She looked at her brother with disgust. "Ugh- look at this guy... Tch! Hateful!"

Jiang Yue uncomfortably chuckled at their sibling fight. When they arrived by the door, the door opened. A blur of the same dark hair grabbed Yue and hugged her deeply. Her height was a bit taller than before she left the country. Her beauty became much prettier and pronounced like their grandmother.

The girl who was hugging her was her little sister, Jiang Min.

"Sister..." Jiang Min stared at her with her goldish brown eyes now looking like a melted gold with her tears. "I really miss you! Wu!"

Jiang Yue can't help but comfort her and bring her inside. Their two cousins also entered while carrying her stuff. They ordered the maids to put her belongings to her room.

"Shhh... I'm home now," She comforted her. "I'm not going anywhere anymore."

"Really? You will be home this time?"

"Yes, really. Where's our parents? Where's Jinjing and Brother Lei?"

Jiang Min wiped her happy tears away before speaking again. "They are waiting in the dining room. We miss you!"

Jiang Yue smiled warmly. A rare thing for her to do. "I miss you all, too."
