8 Ch 7: Re-evaluation and Warning

---This Chapter is written by Void-King---

The Day of Rimuru's Adventure Magic Reevaluation has come, and there are noticeably more people than when he arrived. Most of them are reporters looking for a scoop about an actor who would become an adventurer.

Once Rimuru was inside, he was met by the head of the Adventurers Association, who was accompanied by a young man.

"Are you also here for Adventurer Reevaluation?" Rimuru asked the young man, who had black hair and black eyes.

"Well, yes," the young boy replied.

"Well, good luck. My name is Rimuru Tempest, by the way," Rimuru said, extending his hand for a handshake.

The young boy grabbed his hand and shook it.

"My name is Shun. Nice to meet you," he said.

'This guy is not an ordinary person,' Rimuru thought.

'This guy is dangerous. My senses are telling me to run away from this guy,' Shun thought, sensing the density of Rimuru's Magicule that was converted into mana.

The two talked for a while until the Association staff called Shun to take the re-examination first.

After 30 minutes, Shuna came out with a smile on his face.

"You look happy. Let me guess, you're an S Rank Adventurer," Rimuru said.

"Yes, I am. Good luck on your evaluation," Shun said.

Rimuru then went inside to do his own re-evaluation.

"Ciel, tone down my Magicule capacity to S Rank."

[As you wish, Master.]

Once Ciel lowered his Magicule level, Rimuru stood in the center of the room.

The staff instructed him to place his hand on a round machine in the center. This machine would be able to read his Mana Capacity and determine his rank.

"Alright, let's finish this," Rimuru said as he placed his hand on the machine.

As soon as Rimuru put his hand on the machine, it started shaking violently. Not a few minutes later, it overheated and exploded.

Seeing the machine explode, Rimuru immediately used Thought Acceleration to speed up his thought process to a Million times, and be able to talk to Ciel.

'EHHH...Ciel, I thought I said that you should limit my Magicule capacity,' Rimuru asked Ciel.

[I did what you said, Master.]

'Then why did it explode?' Rimuru asked.

[Master, Magicule is much purer than mana, and the reason why that machine exploded is because it cannot handle the purity of your Magicule. Even a little bit of Magicule can make any machine in this world go KABOO... uh, I mean, Destroy.] Ciel stopped before saying the last words.

"You're going to say KABOOM, right?"

[It's just your imagination, Master.]

"Oh well," Rimuru then turned off his Thought Acceleration.

The association staff checked the machine to see what happened, but they too were confused about how it exploded.

"I'm sorry, sir. It looks like there's an issue with your re-evaluation, and we might need to..."

The staff wanted to tell Rimuru that his re-evaluation would be moved to another day since the machine exploded. However, before the staff could finish, someone spoke.

"There's no need to move his re-evaluation. We can confirm that he's an S Rank Adventurer just by looking at this machine," a man with white hair and a muscular build said.

He was the head of the Adventurers Guild in Japan, named Matsumoto Hiroki.

"But sir, are you sure about this?" the staff asked.

"Yes, there has been a time when a machine exploded due to a high level of mana, so this is no big deal. Young man, congratulations on passing the re-evaluation and becoming an S Rank Adventurer," Hiroki said.

"Well, thanks, but is this going to be announced publicly?" Rimuru asked.

"Well, yes. Is there something you want to do before we announce it?" Hiroki asked Rimuru.

"Well, I would like to ask if you guys can delay the announcement until the day of the Star Festival," Rimuru asked.

"Well, if that's all, it wouldn't be a problem," Hiroki replied.

"Thank you. I appreciate it, sir," Rimuru said and gave a bow before he left.

"Keep an eye on him. I feel like there's something big about to happen, and it will involve that young man," Hiroki said to his staff.

Once Rimuru exited the room, he found Shun talking to Sugou, and he could hear Sugou threatening Shun.

"Remember, Shun, the lives of your sister and your mother are in my hands. If you try to betray me, you can kiss them goodbye."

Rimuru heard Sugou's words loud and clear, but he also heard another voice.

"Master, should I kill this insect?"

"Don't act without my orders, Beru. I will kill this bastard at the right time," Shun said in a small whisper that only he could hear.

But Rimuru heard it all, and he also noticed the shadows around Shun. Inside of his shadow were hundreds of shadow soldiers, each at least B Rank.

'This world really has changed,' Rimuru thought.

While Rimuru was deep in his thoughts, Sugou, the bastard, noticed Rimuru and approached him.

"Well, well, well, look who we have here. Mister Knight in shining armor," Sugou said with a cocky smile.

"Haven't you had enough of your cocky attitude? Or would you like me to show you how pathetic you are?" Rimuru said in an irritated tone.

"Chee... you little bastard. I will certainly destroy you at the Star Festival, and while you're suffering, I'll enjoy having Yuuki all to myself," Sugou said as he lick his lips and his face is full of lust.

This made Rimuru angry, and he grabbed Sugou's neck.

"Accckkk."

"You really are a fool," Rimuru said as he tightened his grip, ready to crush Sugou's neck.

But it was stopped when a hand grabbed Rimuru's hand.

"Young man, please stop this," Hiroki said.

He had just come out to see the what is the commotion that is happening outside, and what he saw was Rimuru choking Sugou to death.

Rimuru let go and walked past Sugou, who was on the ground and was gasping for air.

"Remember this, Sugou. I'll crush you at the Star Festival, and I will make sure that you will not see the light of another day, Consider this as my Last and Final Warning, Enjoy your remaining Time in this world," Rimuru said as he looked at Sugou as if he were just an insect in Rimuru's eyes.

"Damn you! I will make you pay!" Sugou said as he gritted his teeth out of anger.
