As his eyes rested on his stats, disbelief washed over him. "What the...? Why is my race now a question mark? Did something change when I received those rewards?" Ren's voice trembled with shock as he examined his modified status.

"Ugh, this complicates things. If anyone discovers my altered status, it's going to be a nightmare. I need an ability that lets me fake my stats, or I'm in big trouble – especially with those Legacy and Ability stats added to my status," Ren muttered, his words reflecting a sense of frustration and concern.

Taking in the aftermath, his attention shifted to the lifeless bodies of the 100 LV:1 monsters he had obliterated. A wicked grin tugged at his lips. "Might as well put these corpses to good use and boost my strength." Ren's voice carried an eerie satisfaction as he activated his ability. A surge of deep blue energy enveloped the chamber, drawing the essence of each fallen monster towards Ren's form.

The transformation bathed his body in fiery red hues, as if on the verge of eruption. Amid searing agony, Ren teetered on the precipice of unconsciousness, his clenched teeth the only link to reality. Despite feeling as if his body might explode, the continuous healing at the starting point allowed him to endure.

After 5 minutes, the radiance began to fade, and his blazing hot body gradually returned to normal.

"Pant... Pant... What the heck was that?" Ren's breath came in heavy gasps, his frustration evident in the expletive that slipped out. His gaze landed on the now-disappeared mound of corpses.

"Thank goodness I was at the healing point. If not, I'd have exploded the moment I triggered my ability. Can't afford recklessness. This ability could easily become my downfall," Ren muttered, a somber realization settling in.

"Anyway, before I head into that portal, I better recheck my status," Ren mumbled to himself, a determined resolve driving him to activate his status window once more.

"Wow, I have extracted all this skills and abilities. Awesome! Now I should combine some and see what it becomes." Ren muttered and again active his ability. But this time instead of dark blue energy, dark purple energy comes out.

"Now what to do, well let's just think about the name of the abilities I want to fuse." Ren muttered and thought about the elements he just extracted the all the elements combined and a bright light comes out which made Ren unable to see anything for a few seconds.

After the light dimmed down Ren saw that his status changed.

"Whoa! These elements have truly fused and become Aether Control. It's like I can wield the combined might of all the elements for even more devastating effects," Ren exclaimed with elation.

"Well, maybe I should merge Shadow Control and Soul Control with Aether Control. They're all control-based abilities, so it's worth a shot. But first, I'll stay put in the destination point. I've had enough unexpected surprises for now," Ren muttered, settling into a lotus position within the destination point.

Summoning his ability once more, the purple energy manifested before him. Concentrating on the amalgamation of his abilities, a light exponentially brighter than before burst forth, causing the entire room to quake as if it might crumble.

Ren's body inflated like an overfilled balloon, sustained only by the relentless healing. Despite the pain resistance skill, this time the agony reached almost inhumane levels, pushing him to the brink of insanity.

After an excruciating ten minutes, the torture finally subsided, and Ren's body returned to its usual state.

Gasping for breath, he managed to mutter, "W-What the hell!? I knew this wouldn't be a cakewalk. Had I attempted this outside, I'd have been a goner. Thank goodness I survived."
