1 0 - A Whole Fleet for 100

Outskirts of Earth's solar system.

A gigantic black silhouette floats into view with thousands of lights within it. It's the battle hardened UFSS Kolfi, one of the Universal Federation's oldest surviving star ships.

Further behind the UFSS Kolfi were more black silhouettes with lights, though much smaller in size. Nevertheless, it was an entire fleet, parked right outside of the solar system.

"So? How is it? Are those things really going to be worth it?" Mayor asked.

"Are you kidding me? I've scanned the planet forty plus times and the number just doesn't change!" Cried Bulfo, "Those 'humans' have hardly anything to speak for themselves! They haven't even discovered how to produce stable isotopes of elements above 98, no wonder there are only 100 signatures."

"100?! That's it? Didn't you say there were over seven and a half billion of them?" Mayor shouted in shock, "The heads of the Federation send out a fleet of nearly 90 ships cause some old prophesy was rediscovered?"

"Right? These things have such a low potential rate, no wonder they were ranked so low. And yet we're put in charge of their reception."

Bulfo and Mayor were high ranking officers within the Federation. The duo had made a name for themselves all over as the two soul soldiers who led just two platoons to take back an entire system. Their mission this time however: To take the humans with potential aboard for training.

"Well, you said you scanned it over 40 times, let's just take them and go." Mayor said while giving out a yawn. "Just send some grunts to set up the teleporters and manipilate their pitiful minds into getting in."
