I have been secretly spending most of my time in the Elven Town of Norman these past few weeks. I am studying the structure, culture, food, and the one I am most focused on, currency. I am very interested in the currency because I have been thinking if I should introduce this concept to my Village. The currency here is the very common gold, silver, and copper. The values are 1G = 10S =100C. The way that my village has been going is basically I own everything and I and the council distribute it to the people. Basically communism in a good way.

Anyways Bren and I have been hanging out while I am here in his town. I have learned that Bren is the Chief of Military here. I was surprised because he is so young but then Kirth is also the Head of guards and he is younger. I found out that the town is led by a monarchy. The leader is not called King but rather Chieftain. The name of the current chieftain is Well. He has been on power for ten years and his administration made this town a better town compared to the previous one by his father. All elves seem to respect Chief Well so much. He also seems like a very competent leader. I would like to meet him soon.

One day Bren told me that he and his men will be going out of the town because the Chief's Daughter will go hunting. They will be bodyguards. I was nervous at first because I thought that they will go to Crimson Woods but Bren said.

"Hahahahaha, Who would even go hunting in that creepy forest? No way we are going there. I heard crazy animals live there. Anyone who enters there dies."

I am glad that they will not go in the woods but it kinda felt weird when I heard what Bren said. Now that I think about it, the people outside probably think this forest is haunted.

Anyways, I am kinda interested who this princess is. Maybe she will come in very useful for me.

Five soldier elves and Bren surround a girl elf in her teens riding a horse. I would say she is fifteen. She is a pretty girl, but she is not my type. I also do not prefer younger girls.

I quietly followed them as they go towards a smaller forest near the town.

As soon as they went into the green forest, the lady quickly grabbed her bow and shot a deer.

Not bad. She seems skilled with the bow.

"Good Shot my lady!" Bren yelled.

The group continued hunting. They caught some minor targets as the lady continued to showcase her skills with archery. The guards all continued to celebrate the success, but then

"ROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRR!!!!!!!!"

A bear suddenly appeared out of nowhere. It was a huge bear. The height is about 5 meters tall. It sure is big, but I believe I can defeat this creature easily since I fought something harder. I believe even Kirth can beat this all by himself. I decided that I will observe the situation first before I act. I need to see how well they handle this.

The guards quickly got into formation. The position seems like protecting the girl. The bear then struck its claws towards them but Bren who was at the front blocked it using his shield. Quite impressive Bren, but then the bear continued on hitting Bren until Bren fell to the ground. The other guards quickly struck back but it was no good. The bear was too strong. Even the lady now is using her bow but the bear quickly broke it. The guards now are all down. The bear is now approaching the girl. Now it is time to shine.

Just as the bear was about to strike at the lady, I swiftly slashed the hand of the bear. The bear quickly backed off and ran away with a missing arm.

"Are you fine my lady?" I told the elf. I know it is the most cliche thing to say but it fits the situation.

"Y-yes..."

I helped her in standing up. The other guards also seem like they have recovered. Bren then recognizes me and shouts

"Hey yo-!"

I quickly signaled him to act like he does not know me which he seems like he noticed.

"-u are a Hero! Thanks, man!"

"No problem. I was just passing by when I saw you in trouble so I did what a normal guy would do and save those in need. I am Wreck by the way."

"Thank you again human. By the way, my name is Yuli. What can I do to repay you?"

Now, this is what I have been waiting for.

"I really do not need anything now so...." I acted like I am shy to even make her desperate.

"No no. I need to repay your help to us."

"But you seem like a little girl. What can you do for me?"

"You might be surprised, but I am actually the daughter of the Chief of Norman so I am quite important. I can help you as long as it is fine."

"Really?"

"Yes. I am quite influential! These guys are my guards which can prove that I am a true daughter of the leader."

"Okay then, I have now decided."

"So what is it?"

"Can I go to your town?"

"Of course you can! But is that it?!?!

"No. My main request is if I can meet your father."
