Excitment
Morning At QS Company...
Grandpa came early because there was lots of work pending. So, After reaching the office, he quickly started going through all the documents.
For the past few days, he had been waiting for the answer but then he thought that it was not fair for that boy because recently his heart was broken.
Now he has stopped thinking about the proposal because he doesn't want to rush things and complicate the situation for Kevin.
Butler came inside with a cup of tea and then he placed it on the table. Grandpa didn't say anything because he was busy.
Then Butler walked out of the office, assuming that Grandpa was busy.
"What a hectic!" He said and then started going through all the documents.
After a few minutes, the butler came and handed him his phone.
"Hello!" Grandpa said.
"Hello, Mr. Elvis!" the person on the line said.
"How can I help you?" He asked him. Grandpa didn't know who was the person on the other line.
He didn't want to pick up the call and the butler also knew it but when the butler came and gave him the phone. He realised that it might be important.
"Sir We are glad to announce to you that we are ready to accept your proposal!" that person said with no excitement but with a normal tone.
"Which proposal?" he asked him. As far as he remembered he didn't propose any proposal to a different company because he wanted to secure his partnership with Lopez Corporation, Then he would look after the different companies.
"Sir! Kevin Sir has accepted your proposal!" He said.
"What?" he got up from his chair with a surprised look.
Isn't it too early for him to accept it? Recently he has realized the true colors of his ex-girlfriend and so early he is healed, Grandpa wondered.
"Sir we are also surprised as much as you are but believe me, I am sure Sir has made the right decision!" He said while chuckling.
Then He looked at the butler with Excitement. He couldn't control but laugh and scream.
"Thank you so much, Sir! You made my day!" He said.
"Welcome sir!" Then the person on the line disconnected his call.
"What happened, sir?" Butler asked. He didn't have any idea what happened inside the call and what things they were discussing because the voice was not audible but he was sure that it was not about business.
"I am so happy today!" Grandpa said excitedly.
"Why sir?" He asked him. Butler couldn't help but get more curious. He had never seen him this happy.
"Kevin has agreed!" He screamed and laughed.
Butler was surprised because he also felt that it wasn't too early for him to accept the proposal. It would have been better if he had thought twice about it.
Grandpa knocked off his thoughts and asked "What happened?"
"Huh.Ah! Sir, I was thinking....!"
"I know Robert but think about it. His girlfriend was the one who started it and it would be of no worth if he were crying!" He said to him with excitement.
"Yeah!" He said.
"So everything is final Now!" He said.
Butler hopes that everything will be fine once Mr Lopez enters the house.
Whereas Grandpa couldn't stop himself but dance in excitement. This was the best day of his life until now because he finally found a match for his granddaughter.
He is very happy because, after a long time, he will see a smile on his granddaughter though it will take time for her to adjust at least her granddaughter will be happy.
