" I won't be a part of your madness!"

" what? I can't be a part of this madness!" King Elak banged his fist on the table.

" Calm down Elak. You're over reacting. What we are about to do is for our own good." King Elick spoke.

" Don't ask me to calm down Elick, we are talking about wiping out an entire tribe here, isn't that madness?" King Elak asked.

" No one said anything about wiping out the entire tribe, our target is to eradicate every male from age ten and above. The lives of women and smaller children will be spared." King Shaka spoke.

" What is the difference? If you kill all the males, who will defend the tribe? It is as good as wiping out the entire tribe. Why are you doing this brothers? King Elak asked

" The reason is simple Elak, we fear that in the future the forest tribe might fight back. As long as they exist, they will always be a threat to our tribes." King Shaka replied.

" The forest tribe are prospering, their population is increasing with each passing day, if we don't tame them now, we might live to regret it in the future." King Elick added.

" That isn't enough reason to harm them, you're making a wrong decision, a decision you will live to regret. I beseech you to change your minds." King Elak spoke.

" King Elak, I will advise you to keep your mouth shut if you don't have anything reasonable to say. I called for this meeting, so we can put our heads together and come up with a good strategy to tame the forest tribe, here you are talking nonsense!" King Shaka said annoyed.

" Why am I being persecuted for saying the truth, you all know that what you're about to do is inhumane. I beg you to repeat from this evil." King Elak begged.

" You still don't understand, Elak. We have made up our minds, there is nothing you can do to change it" King Lemech finally spoke. He has been quite from the beginning of the meeting, he watched in silence as the three other Kings argued.

" I can't believe you are in support of this, I thought you were different from them, king Lemech. I guess I was wrong. You all are birds of same feather." King Elak spoke with a hint of disappointment in his voice. He thought king Lemech was on his side, but he was wrong.

" I see you're not in support of our plan. If you are not for us, king Elak, then don't try to stop us." King Shaka spoke in a matter-of-fact tone.

King Elak was the king of the island tribe (they lived on the island). His tribe was the smallest amongst the five tribes that made up the western kingdom. Unlike the other king, Elak hates violence and injustice. He was not in support of the other kings' decision.

King Shaka was the king of Sheba (shebian tribe). The Shebians were the eldest and strongest tribe amongst the others. King Shaka was a vicious king, he envied the prosperity of the forest tribe, he feared that the forest tribe might grow and take over the other four tribes. To ensure that it will not happen in the future, he formed an alliance with king Elick (king of the Savage tribe) and king Lemech ( King of the medean tribe), together they would destroy the forest tribe.

The Forest tribe had been living in the forest for over a century, the forest was all they had, it was their only source of survival. Over a century ago, their ansestor, Shamgar was born with dark skin. He was refer to as " the son of a devil", because of his skin color. His four step brothers made life for him a living hell, he was chased out of his home to live in the forest. Till this day the forest tribe are considered a cursed generation by the other tribes.
