Arc 1. Li Haoran Chapter 1

"Young master, the master and young miss are waiting for you to eat breakfast" was the first thing Death heard.
[What am I supposed to do? ]
[I'll first give you the basic information]
The world was a 21st century Earth. The body owner was named Li Haoran, an illegitimate son of Li Qiang,business tycoon owner of Li Conglomerate one of the biggest and most flourishing company in the country. Li Haoran is 17 year old who was constantly misunderstood because of his half-sister, the legitimate daughter and her cohorts of pursuers.
Before he could get more information, he heard a knock again
It was the same maid, whom he heard before.
"Young master, they're-"
"I'm coming". Li Haoran answered, he was a little surprised by the sound coming out of his mouth, well it can't be helped, it's his first time talking, actually it's his first time for all.
Using the fragment of memories, he walked in to the dining room, as the original owner always did, he bowed slightly to greet his father, half-sister and his mother. He took a seat next to his mother.
"A'ran, sleeps in today, so unlike you" his mother says with a smile while picking food for both him and his father.
"I have trouble sleeping last night" Haoran answered in a soft voice
"Are you sick? Your voice is a bit off" His mother asked, patting his back
"I'm okay", he's just afraid that he can't control his newly acquired voice and speaks louder than necessary.
Haoran silently noted that it's only he and her mother who was talking. But he should try having another first and eat these mouth watering dishes.
Making use of the silent breakfast, Haoran decided to have a look at the plot of this world.
This world is like a modern Cinderella story, but only from the protagonist point of view. The protagonist was none other than his half-sister, Li Xiulin.
Li Xiulin, just like every other Cinderella have a happy, perfect family her father was a rich businessman and her graceful but sickly mother was an infamous artist. Her perfect little world came to an end when she turned 13,that year she lost her mother and to make things worse, her father the one she always think as a loving husband brought a woman to their home with an illegitimate son, and the boy was the same age as her, only a few months younger. Li Xiulin was hurt by his father betrayal and hate her father and resent the step mother but for her half-brother she couldn't bring herself to hate him, that is until she learned that her mother's death have something to do with both the mother and son duo.
At the moment, a few months passed since Li Xiulin find out the "truth" about her mother's death and start resenting everyone in her family also today is the day Li Haoran starts attending the same school as her. Li Xiulin was rather lowkey and not many people knew that she is the legitimate daughter of Li Qiang and the true heiress of Li conglomerate while Li Haoran never try to hide his identity of a rich second generation young master, legitimate or not. So when people knows of the enmity between Li Xiulin and him, they start attacking Li Xiulin, trying to fawn over him, which in turn makes him a detestable villain.
[And what exactly am I supposed to do] not wanting to look at the weird story, Haoran asked his system
[Main task for this world is to make a happy ending for Li Haoran and his mother, and as for the side mission it would be given as the story progress]
Walking up to his room, Haoran continue to chat with the system.
[What are the chances of my completion of this task? 0 I'll say, I know nothing about human and how they function] Haoran said while changing into his uniform and looking through fragments of memories
[Actually host xj22 already did a good job, your first scene was good, not even the original's mother could tell you're not Li Haoran]
